I gotta go with Season One. I enjoyed the story telling a bit more than the other two seasons, and I just enjoyed speculating after the season ended. Once season two came, it was still solid story telling, but as we edged closer to the series finale, there was less mystery and intrigue that went into the show to me. However, best season finale is a three way tie! One thing Avatar was great at, the season finale!

I loved the entire show even the filler episodes, but if I have to pick one I would have to say Book 3. Just because you finally get to see where all Aang's work has brought him. Good fight scenes and the such =) But it was a hard decision just because there wasn't a book that I DIDN'T like. so *shrugs*

Now that the whole thing is over, I would deffiantly say book three. My favorites were: The Avatar and the Firelord: This was totally epic storytelling in the way it continually switched veiwpoints from Aang to Zuko. The 'transend (did I spell that right? It looks weird.) lifetimes' bit was very touching, especially with the Taang bit at the end. Also, Roku's story was amazing. The Ember Island Players: Loved seeing the look on everyone's faces even if it was totally filler. Toph's reaction to the play in general was hilarious. Laughed through the whole thing. Day of Black Sun: Excellent combo of humor, romance, and warfare. Even though I'm not huge on Kataang I still thought the kiss was very sweet. The second half gave me goosebumps, especially since up untill then I thought Suki had died. And finally....Sozin's Comet: Stayed up all night watching this. It moved me to tears the first time when Zuko got shot. Incredible movie, they couldn't have finished A:TLA any better.
