i don't want Azula being "good" like the Gaang. I'd prefer her to be "grey" kinda like Jun. Where she is capable of choice on either side based on her wants.

Well thats what is great about this show 'The world isn't divided between good people and death eaters' even the good characters have a dark side and the villains have a human side no matter how deep down they bury it.
The most awesome sequel would be Azula escapeing to exact her revenge as a pirate lord terrorizing the firenation coast and the rest of the world and eventually attempting a coup against Zuko, yea like thats ever going to happen lol

I wish Azula would have did some good Fire Bending in the final... Even with the comet, her and Zuko's bending was no better than it is without the comet.
Some better and more powerful than that thing Iroh did to that wall would have been perfect.

I have a new theory. I think the character of Gul Dukat, the most nuanced and well-developed villian in Star Trek history, from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine is the inspiration for Azula's character. First I'll post the profiles of Gul Dukat and Azula from their respective wikis. Gul Dukat: memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/DukatAzula: avatar.wikia.com/wiki/Azula#PersonalityDukat and Azula both hungered for personal power They both hungered for power. Which Dukat, like most Cardassians gained through subterfuge and ruthlessness, just like Azula. Just like her inspiration, Azula's a cruel woman. She had sadistic tendencies that she's always hidden even from herself as dedicated nationalism. It's that nationalism that drove her to massacre millions of Bajorans in the name of the Cardassian Union. In the same way Azula was devastatingly cruel in the name of her people. And she finally went completely insane, much like Dukat, in much the same manner: Being betrayed by their friends. Dukat's friend Corat Damar, murdered his daughter after he revealed that she'd betrayed them to the large Federation attack force heading toward Deep Space Nine to reclaim it from his grubby claws. Which promptly turned him into the blithering sobbing idiot. Azula's insanity took longer, but happened because of the same basic cause, her friends betrayed her. I think the parallels are there.

So here is an explanation from the official Avatar site about what happened to Azula "Imagine being betrayed by your best friends, abandoned by your mother, and humiliated by your brother. It's enough to make any teenage girl act a little nutty. Add to that the pressure of becoming Firelord and running an entire nation by herself, and Azula was bound to crack sooner or later. After Zuko defeated her in the Agni Kai, Azula was shipped off to a mental health facility on a nearby island where she is supervised around the clock."

Maybe if she was even half the master that Iroh is, then Azula could have done something more powerful than Iroh's attack on Ba Sing Se...

^^ Could you give me a link to the page where they say that about Azula?
Edit: Nevermind, I found it. I wonder if the creators approve of this description.
