Well where did Azula ordered them to be locked up? Is there anything worser then the Boiling Rock or are they going to remain in the prison? Perhaps there is an underground to the prison where light does not come though. Prisoners are only feed once a day the least possible amount. More dangerous criminals may even be in chains. Although that is the least amount of Ty Lee and Mai's worries.
All they would have is each other's company. Locked together in one of the darkest cells. Ty Lee shall keep her optimistic attitude and Mai will be wondering about her newly rekindled feelings for Zuko. While we're at it. Why don't they hear a voice of a young man in the cell across from them. The boy's name shall be Shu, and he shall keep them plan an escape.

Though she didn't get much dialogue, what she did spoke volumes. I made it almost worth not seeing her for a good chunk of the season....almost. It was as if the creators were "saving her" for this moment. I was so proud of her for finally stepping out of Azula's shadow and taking a stand. I'm anxious to see how this will play out, now that Azula's friends have gone against her. You think they'll also end up joining the gAang eventually? That's right, Aang, you just keep stealing the other side's players and taking them for your own. It's just like checkers! Or Red Rover.

Ty Lee has always been a difficult character for me to like in the past (because she was so freakishly dangerous), but now I have grown a liking to her.
I think if anything, Ty Lee is misunderstood, and even a bit innocent. Her personality is looked down upon by the comformity of the Fire Nation: she's bubbly, happy, is carefree, and looks at everything with a different perspective instead of the domineering perspective that most Fire Nation folks go by. In fact, she reminds me a lot like an airbender, which is why a lot of people may look down on her. That, and she likes Uncle Iroh, who has pretty much the same personality as her.
And even more, she cute, but deadly. It can totally catch one offgaurd, and unfortunately, Azula used this to her advantage. That, and Ty Lee is a wuss because of her friendly personality. Since she was one of MANY similar looking children, she wanted to gain as much attention as possible that could still maintain her individuality. So she started acrobatics. At first, she probably just wanted to do this for the fun of it. But Azula obviously had different plans for Ty Lee, and bullied her into helping her. You notice that Azula didn't really like how Ty Lee could out shine her at something when they were children, but now she see's it to her advantage. And, Ty Lee did eventually grab the Fire Princess's attention with her skill.
So now she is stuck in a prison with Mai, the gloomiest place in the world, and all she wanted to do was perform in the circus, the most care-free place that Fire Nation has to offer (but then there's the animal abuse... But I think Ty Lee would have been the type to have been friendly to the animals. ^_^), all because of that wench princess, Azula.
And that is my take on Ty Lee.

Lol 'that wench Azula'
That was a very good post *karma* Ty Lee is more complex than she seems and she never wanted to be part of the war she just wanted to be free and enjoy life to the full. Its not her fault that Azula decided she would be a good childhood companion and later would be a useful ally.
I really wonder how she's coping in prison and where exactly they are, I would love to see them again in the finale and not just in the last few scenes after the war. I would love to see her try and uncrazyfy (yea its a word) Azula when she's lost her mind. I think Ty Lee does care about Azula even though she is afraid of her, she's just a caring person

I must say, she does make a dang good Kyoshi Warrior. I'm just sad that she seemed to not care about Mai or Azula's whereabouts at all. Though she didn't get a whole lot of screentime to work with. D:

I realized she and Mai had been in prison together, so it's a moot point. Also, why bring up Azula? So we know what became of her, of course.

Azula made one shudder when she was within twenty feet of them. Azula's essence will make one shiver ever the slightest bit if you say her name. So it's best to not mention her when the sky actually seems clear in the Fire Nation. But "lol" fuego. She is goin green, and Ty-Lee makes a really good Kyoshi Warrior. Mai may be nauseated by their colors, but Ty-Lee sure isn't.

I thought it was great at the end when she became a Kyoshi warrior, and even though Azula is my favorite character I was still happy when Ty Lee stood up for Mai and knocked Azula down at The Boiling Rock.

Has anyone noticed this? Ty Lee does not look like she's from the Fire Nation!
The typical Fire Nation citizen has pale skin, black hair, and amber eyes. Ty Lee has slightly darker skin (although nowhere near as dark as the Water Tribe), gray-brown eyes, and brown hair.
Combine that with the fact that she's not a bender, and it makes me wonder whether one of her parents is from somewhere else.
