Yeah that was sad. But she had to.

I really feel bad for Sokka. I think that song that Iroh was singing for Music Night might've foreshadowed her death or something... you know, the one about the 4 seasons and four loves. I think that was the background music when Sokka volunteered to do the "dangerous mission". Sad...

I never even noticed it was the same music!!!
But I liked Princess Yue. Sokka never really gave any indication that he like Suki. SUki didn't for him either. But who knows what might happen...

i like Princess Yue. but i think suki & sokka will meet again, since yue gave her life for the Moon Spirit. i actually rather liked the idea of Yue&Sokka. But, as Aunt Wu said in one of the epis, "your life will be full of self-inflicted anguish." i'm not exactly sure if that has anything do with what's happening to sokka, though. but it sounds like it does.....doesn't it? anyway, in a lot of cultures, back (way back), women didn't really have a say in ANYTHING! so it's not really as if she would have a chance of getting of the engagement. On the bright side, the way i try to see it, since Yue is now the Moon Spirit, she won't have to marry that idiotic Hans (or whatever his name is).

It was really touching for me when Sokka was talking with Yue's father at the end. Sokka told him he must be proud that Yue was now the moon spirit, and her father responded "I am very proud...and very sad." That was very moving.

I'm kinda really suprised that Nick was able to show that epi. Zhao, Hans, Yue, all those people in the Water tribe and fire navy ships being killed and all.

The Music Night was all over, I heard it as well. It may even become a recurring theme in the entire series. It almost already is, and personally, I enjoy it.
Yue's character... makes me sad. I would have been so eager to have her character develop and I almost wish we hadn't only had one episode of her before the season finale. Her personality had depth that we didn't even skim until the very last. I believe that had she been given more screen time, her selflessness would have had an even bigger impact. As it was the majority of her self-expansion seemed… rushed. In a way it mirrored the way her personal life was spinning out of control, with an arranged marriage looming over her shoulder and barely any time to stop and have a decent session of unique bonding with the viewers. For the extremely short amount of time the creators gave themselves to mold an entire character’s background, motivation, and believability, I think they did a fine job. More could have been accomplished in more episodes, but even if Yue’s character started out rocky to some, her climax refined her person excellently.

Han looked really cool, but face it... brains over looks! He couldn't even pronounce Zhao's name right! And the way he "attacked" Zhao... *shakes head sadly*, it was over so quick, it looked like he actually JUMPED off the ship. Oh well, sad for him, happy for Yue and Sokka! I liked her character in the end. I wonder what she meant when she said on this scene: Sokka: You don't have to marry him Yue: But I have to do it for my people. Sokka: But you're not marrying them Yue: You don't understand Sokka, I have duties to my people and my father. Dunno what she meant by that. Someone should've told her one time, "But you have duties to yourself as well".

I don't know why, but I HATE Yue. I appreaseate(sp) what she did, but she annoys(sp) me to no end! Sokka"s better off with Suki.

Yue kinda annoys me. She was the perfect, tragic princess type. Beautiful and caught in the laws of the North Pole, forbidding her from being with her true love. Don't get me wrong, Yue was a nice girl, but her role was highly stereotypical.

She's kinda cool. I named my pet mouse after her cuz even though the mouse's parents and siblings all had spots, she was born pure white. It reminded me of Yue's hair. What kinda bothered me was her voice. It was annoying. But the character of Yue was really cool.
