Zuko was prince of the fire nation, so naturally he was loyal to it. When he was banished, he had to realize what was happening in the world. Aang has even offered him friendship. I don't think Zuko will always chase the Avatar, he'll eventually get on the right side.

I think he just wants to capture Aang. If necessary, he will hurt Aang to capture him, but I don't think he would torture Aang if he did manage to catch him.

maybe they'll kill all of the water tribe people, and then kill aang.

i dont think that zuko will chase aang forever. i think that one day he will give up and find out that there will be no way of getting home.

And 1froggy13, I agree. I said somewhere before that Zuko always calls Aang 'The Avatar' because it is a subconscious attempt to dehumanize him. If Zuko liked Aang, then he would never be able to achieve his goal of capturing him, thus he created this mindset that Aang is a thing rather than a person. |
