Yeah, that fight was awesome and it lasted only about 10 or so minutes, instead of three episodes.

Yeah, that's one thing about the anime...they could condens half of those fights. But I do like to see fights that weren't shown in the manga (Tenten Temari fight we didn't get to see....was well handled in the episode...) but the Gaara/Lee fight took like six episodes.

I prefer the manga. I like the art, but it doesnt translate to animation as well as say... Death Note.

Another thing I like about the manga is that the storyline doesn't drag on; that tends to happen a lot in anime to a point where I just lose interest it in. I know it's not really their fault, but it gets kind of boring after awhile. The manga version is much faster.

BAck!
Manga does give more detail than the Anime, because when I saw it they missed a lot of the parts.

I like having some aspects of the fights left to my imagination. Like how the rasengen [sp?] looks, which i dont really like in the anime, Gaara's sand works differently in my head, etc.
And i like the art of the manga black and white. But I dont like it in color, and especially when its animated.

Hummm. I mainly watch the Anime, but the Manga is way ahead and has some stuff that the anime did not, well, animate.
Yes, the manga really leaves more to the imagination, which is good, but dissapointing when you see the anime or it in color because you might have imagined it differentally.

i love Manga since that's how i discovered naruto before dubs came to the U.S. though like what katie was saying your imagination can be different from what the creators think.
the thing i like about the anime is you get to hear what the characters voices are.

I prefer the manga. I like the art, but it doesnt translate to animation as well as say... Death Note. The manga has much better quality than the anime could ever hope to achieve. I remember after I watched the Sandaime/Oro fight, I read that chapters that correspond to it in the manga. And it seemed so short!!!! XD

Sometimes I have difficulty figuring out what the heck is going on in some of the action sequences in the manga.
