I personally think that the 90's had the best television shows on tv.
"You're a 90's kid if:
You can sing the rap to "The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air"
You know that "WOAH" comes from Joey from "Blossom" and that "How Rude!" comes from Stephanie from "Full House"
You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons.
You know the profound meaning of "Wax on, wax off"
Where in the world is Carmen San Diego? was both a game and a TV game show.
Captain Planet.
You knew that Kimberly, the pink ranger, and Tommy, the green Ranger were meant to be together.
"I've fallen and I can't get up"
You knew all the characters names and their life stories on "Saved By The Bell"
You watched the original Care Bears, My Little Pony, and Ninja Turtles
You've gotten creeped out by "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"
You thought Brain would finally take over the world
Or what about:
Hey Arnold.
Rugrats.
The Secret World of Alex Mac.
Rocco's Modern Life.
Are You Afraid of the Dark?
Doug.
Magic School Bus.
Aladdin.
Pinky and the Brain
Sailor Moon.
Blossom.
Beavis & Butt-Head
Wishbone.
Bill Nye the Science Guy
MR RODGERS!!!!
Where everyone wanted to be in love after watching The Wonder Years.
Under the Umbrella Tree
PEE-WEE!!!
The Big Comfy Couch
Who would have thought you'd miss the 90's tv so much!!!!! Taken from a group on FaceBook
What do you all think about the 90's and its tv shows?

Yeah, I was born in the early 90's and I loved my Nickelodeon. All the Nicktoons: Hey Arnold, Doug, Wild Thornberrys, Kablam!, Angry Beavers, Rocket Power; and the Nick "GAS" shows: Legends of the Hidden Temple, Figure it Out, Get the Picture, GUTS, and my personal favorite Wild and Crazy Kids. I absolutely loved that show. And then Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. This is one of the best shows ever. I still watch it like 3 times a day, with no exaggeration. I watched The Magic School Bus everyday before school with my brother. I can also say that I never successfully watched an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark? Yes, I was afraid of the dark then, and I still am now. I miss the 90's television!!!!

don't forget about Star Trek TNG! I watched the series from it's beginning to it's end
With the exception of the dominion war arch of DS9, all the following Star Treks failed to live up to the legacy.
and cause it jogged my memory, Reading Rainbow! Loved that show.

Well, I, old man that I am, was born in '75, and consider myself a child of the 80s (and some things mentioned in this thread are actually from that decade). Of course, there's also stuff I didn't get to see because I didn't have cable (or satellite) until the mid-90s, until then I was limited to CBS, PBS, and CBC. But whatever, luckily I am eternally young at heart, so I continued to enjoy stuff made for people younger than myself throughout the 90s, and now the 00s, and probably always will....
it's funny, though, earlier today I was vaguely watching some music videos and something which I assume was new came on, and I just said "this seems very 90s." Do you childrens remember grunge, eh?

Well..... while I'm 17....... I'm really not into new music sept for Linkin Park and that. My real passion is Classic Rock. Queen, ACDC, Led Zepplin, Mettallica, Guns N Roses....... etc. Then there is stuff like Billy Joel and Elton John.
So I consider myself the brige between the worlds... heh heh...

Ahh, the good old days of Nick. The only thing it was missing back in the day was Avatar.

Gargoyles.
That is the single reason why I loved my afternoons. Disney, why oh why did you give into the tweens! D:<

Ahh! I totally loved the Power Rangers!! My brothers, cousins, and I used to act like the Power Rangers in my Grandpa's backyard. Of course, I was always the Pink Ranger. And yes, I do love the Ninja Turtles. Rugrats was good, too. Sailor Moon, that holds a legacy with me. Full House is still on, too, so I watch that periodically.

Back in March I was home from school for 2 weeks and watched 90's shows everyday. My favorite channel is Nicktoons because they air Avatar and cancelled Nick shows. So I watched Rugrats and Hey Arnold and Rocket Power everyday. Best two weeks of my life. xD

Two summers ago, I would watch Nicktoons every morning to catch invader zim and hey arnold! Then later that evening, Avatar!
Best summer eva! ^_^ But only after the last best summer. Last year was the best summer eva so var.
You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons.
Oh G*d. Saturday mornings actually had a meaning back then. Right before church (fer me anyway). ;_;
Captain Planet.
I always liked the Russian and the Chinese chics. :P
You've gotten creeped out by "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"
Dun remember that, but I remember "Goosebumps" and "Life on Eerie Street" or somethin like that.
And I was talkin with my friends about Power Rangers awhile back (saw a ton of them at Anime Central and the some of the Power Rangers from seasons 1 and 2 were there! ^_^), and does anybody remember "The Masked Rider"?

I do! XD I practically grew up with that music. And all those shows mentioned in the very beginning of the thread? I watched and remembered them ALL! *_* I miss my 90s tv soo much *huggles thread*. Shoot I even remember there only being 3 "nicktoons": Doug, rugrats, and ren and stimpy. THEN came all the others, I think the 4th that came along was either Rocko or Ahh! Real monsters. Oooh ooh! And remember all the game shows and regular tv shows nick used to air that were actually GOOD?! Like Clarissa exlains it all, Wild and Crazy Kids, What Would You Do, Double Dare and SALUTE YOUR SHORTS!<3 Also there was this one show that was like the show All That only it predated it a few years, it was called Roundhouse, but only a handful of people I know remember it. Also, can't forget the great non-nick shows like Street Sharks, Biker Mice from Mars, Gargoyles, Darkwind Duck, Tailspin, Mighty Max, Batman:TAS, Animaniacs, Tiny Toons... I'm getting too excited over this...*slinks away* >_>;;

I LOVED Masked Rider every morning!x3 Yeah, Saturday Morning doesn't seem to have that magic feel anymore. I can still remember it though, waking up early with a bowl of cereal in hand and your favorite blanket because it was so cold.

I was born in '82, but West, your post brought back memories. I really DO miss '90's TV!! I watch Full House and Sabrina reruns still, but the old Nicktoons (like Hey Arnold, Doug, Angry Beavers, and others), and old Nick shows (like Are You Afraid of the Dark and Salute your Shorts); I miss them!
And I remember getting up early on Saturday mornings to watch the cartoons. The SAt. Morning cartoons now are not as good, and I like sleeping in. lol
