^ Well, let's see...
Zombies:
1) Rise form the dead
2) Have a hunger for brains
3) Can only be killed by an injury to the head/brain
Sylar seems to fit the bill. *nod*

He moved his head spot though, Danko shot him in it last season, and he recovered. Shapeshifting ftw

^One of the few things that I actually didn't like about Fugitives (the others being Precog!Matt and Toddler Touch-&-Go). >_> Although I must admit my jaw hit the floor when he survived that. Much "WTF is going on?!" ensued. It was very Season 1 of them to give such a big twist at the end of an episode. The thing that bothered me about it was I always assumed his shapeshifting was restricted to taking the exact form of somebody else (Bryan Fuller described it as "pop and lock[ing]"). Yes, he'd been waking up with extra teeth and such, but it still felt strange that he could suddenly shapeshift certain parts of his body (heh heh) at will.

I wonder if Nathan can revert into Sylar, if Sylar's in Matt's head. Shouldn't Sylar know that Nathan's actually him, if he's in Matt's brain? I would assume he would have access to his memories, he did know that Matt's wife had cheated on him, although that may have been learned through observing them.

Somebody over at 9th Wonders had an awesome idea, theorizing that Sylar would revert into some sort of zombie state and go off searching for his mind, killing anybody who gets in his way, leading him to Matt and his family. Of course, the preview had Sylar talking to an interrogator coherently, so that's a bust. :/ It would have made for a nice 2- or 3-episode arc (3 seems a little long, but 2 seems a little short. >.<), though.

Post contains information from the preview of next weeks episode 2nd paragraph on deals with Claire and Gretchen Is it just me, or is giving Sylar his memory back in the midst of a bunch of superpowered circus stars a really bad idea? Although, the evil in him may be contained inside Matt, so he may turn out to be like season one Peter. Sylar is meant to be the villain though, so my bets are on him being evil by season's end. Clair and Gretchen: PG13, so in spoiler captions I think this may be a desperate ploy to get more male viewers to watch the show.
NBC Executive 1: Everyone hated last season. NBC Ex 2: I know. NBC Ex 1: Well, what do most guys like? NBC Ex 2: uhh, Lesbians? NBC Ex 1: Great, let's roll with that!
Although I could be completely wrong. It just seemed like it came out of the blue, for no apparent reason.

Wow. Last night's episode was fangasmic. >w< And as for the Claire/Gretchen kiss, IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH LOW RATINGS WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT /capsarcasm I swear, if Emma is killed like all of Peter's past girlfriends were, I'm going to be very, very angry. It was definitely worth going through Volumes 2 and 3 just so we could get to the awesomeness that is Volume 5. *swoon*

^ That would be Volume 3. I wasn't too fond of that one... Volume 4 was a definite improvement IMO.

Sylar's not evil ftl. I still think that if Sylar gets his evil-back, the circus is doomed.
Edit: Another episode has been aired Most interesting parts are that Sylar can control Matt now and that Clair is unsure about how she feels towards Gretchen. The attempted murder of Gretchen isn't that interesting, people get offed on that show all the time.
IMO, from what I've seen of Matt's father, Matt's just not trying hard enough to cage Sylar. Matt has his father's power, and Arthur caged Mrs. Petrelli in her own mind. I think that Matt could get into a mind battle with Sylar if he tried hard enough, fighting him not physically but mentally, and win, because they are his powers, and it is his body, reguardless of Sylar's intuitive aptitude. He shouldn't have it, his intuitive aptitiude should belong to Nathan/Gabriel/his body.

O.O Double posting to bring attention back to the thread, don't hurt me.
Last night's episode was OK, it was nice to see Sylar back in all his Sylariness. I though the whole "Good guys ware white and bad guys ware black" thing was kinda cheesy, and the HGR sidestory was pointless. Two flaws with Hiro's reasoning - didn't he leave Texas because Charlie died? If Charlie isn't dead, then history goes kablooy, and since Hiro is Takio Kensing, shouldn't he now not be, since he sorta moved on from Charlie to the princess girl, while he was Takio?
I think that they should get Peter to put Matt's mind into Sylar's body, and then get rid of Mattlar. Matt could then just shapeshift back into his real form and take his ability from his body. Sylar's hunger would be dead, and we would get a new hero!

That's SO funny! I never thought about it but yeah Sylar does fit the description of a zombie! I REAlly like the character though, i hope they dont get rid of him or kill him of the show or something. It seems like they dont know exactly what to do with him so they're keeping him trapped in Matt's head for now.

Nice profile picture. Clair's storyline was boring. I liked how Matt messed with Sylar, with the gun and the flat, and at the end with the napkin and the getting killed. It shows that Matt was willing to commit suicide in order to save others, which I thought was a nice move. Although the previews had to have Matt getting healed by Peter... How did he get from Charlie's diner in Texas all the way to New York so quickly, especially after getting shot?

I don't know why nobody realizes that Claire's blood would heal the real Nathan.
