Just watching Kim Possible, and there was this ad for American Dragon that I've never seen... it was very cool, like a movie trailer... that episode is Homecoming, airs this saturday.

I’m not a fan of American Dragon at…all but I quite enjoyed the “Homecoming” episode. Spoiler warning just in case!
The tension was high, the Spud and Trixie bits were amusing, but alas the shippers were denied, and I think the Jake/Rose arc wrapped up nicely. You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes, and I think both Jake and Rose understand that. Though I didn’t like that just because 88 and 89 got out “while the getting was good” they got to live.

Excellent episode, seemed rather like a good place to end the series. I suppose the Dark Dragon is still out there unless I missed something, but really, it's hard to imagine the show without Rose or any of the Huntsclan. And if they ever brought the Huntsclan back... I just wouldn't accept it, because they specifically called the wishes "irreversible." And they can't really bring Rose back... I mean, I could see Jake going to Hong Kong and running into her by chance, but the idea that they could have anything together... would negate the drama of this episode, but also it wouldn't make alot of sense. Because Jake would have to tell her the whole truth about himself, and also about the life she doesn't remember. Which she might believe, since she did say he looked familiar. But still, I think it'd be too much for her. She's better off completely cut off from her old life.
Although I wonder where she's been, what her life has been like. If she was in New York, does that mean it's possible she even went to the same school as Jake? Not that there aren't plenty of other schools in the city. Or was her family just passing through? Also it makes me wonder if any past events have been retroactively undone, things that couldn't have possibly gone the way they did without Rose's involvement? Obviously that didn't affect the skulls incident itself, so maybe they produced some kind of... protection of history... to inexplicably allow events to have gone the way Jake remembers them despite Rose's absence....

Oh my freakin' God.
Okay, anyone who believes at this point that Rose doesn't have feelings for Jake... Oh Lord, they should be convinced now. She was willing to give her life for him. If that isn't love, then I sure as hell don't know what is.
And Jake too... oh, he shone. Making a wish that would keep Rose alive, yet take her out of his life and him out of hers... he was willing to lose her, as long as she survived and had a normal family.
I'm so glad I avoided spoilers for so long, because I came in expecting nothing and I was blown away completely. I'm so glad the season was greenlit for 13 more episodes, at least if Disney doesn't pick up the show again we'll have a definite ending for Jake and Rose.
And yes, at the end when Rose made her wish and everything, and then Jake made his wish... I cried. I bawled. I sobbed. I completely and totally wept like a baby, and I don't care.
I can't even rate this episode; this episode deserves no rating. It was completely, utterly perfect. If "Hong Kong Longs" is anything like this, then I'll be more than satisfied.

Jake and Rose probably see each other again in Hong Kong Longs. Since Rose and her family *Besides her sister. Where is she?!* moved to Hong Kong, and Jake and his family go there, they will run into each other. Rose won't know who Jake is, but at least he sees her again.
