I suppose Max and Ruby shouldn't be viewed by anyone under two either.

Agreed. I can't believe all this Bull these people are burning into parents' brains!!! I have an aunt that is kinda strict on TV. I disagreed with that but THIS is ridiculous!!! I mean, what are they gonna say next, Teen Titans is not allowed for children 12 or younger because StarFire's skirt is too short and the girls' costumes don't follow school dress codes??? CRAP!!!

They probably hate anime... grrr!
Lets all jumpt to conclusions and assume they hate anime! But i do feel as if they are unfair toward family guy. If you think about it, family guy wouldnt be viewed as so innapropriate if it wasnt animated.
So they probably hate animation that isnt for little kids.

Its annoying how they always call it "The Family Guy" Theyre such idiots. I found this part of their review of "The Corpse Bride" hilarious: "Tim Burton's Corpse Bride is not a family movie, it is recommended for children twelve and older (unless you want to be up all night.)" Up all night! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA oh, thats good. 11 year olds up all night from that. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Oh i guess "nightmare before christmas" should be rated R i guess! Oh, PTC you never fail to amuse me.

lol I agree w/you guys. It's ridulous. Parents can't just pretend things like violence sex and cussing don't exist and hope maybe they'll get lucky and their kids will somehow never be exposed to anything but candy and barney movies. It doesn't work that way. They'll learn about it somehow. Just last month I had to explain to one of my friends what and STD is. So, another thing I'm wondering, how come parents have time to go on a website and write and read a bunch of biased reviews on shows that might actually have very little wrong with them, yet they don't have time just turn off the TV?

WTH is this about "protecting our college students," because we're all a bunch of hooligans that do nothing but party.
Going to college is a huge chapter in your life, even bigger than turning 18. It's a time when you are responsible for YOU, not your parents. There's a reason why you aren't obligated to show your parents your grades! What are we supposed to have our parents hold our hands until we're 30, and when we finally get out in the real world we don't know how to handle ourselves?
I suppose its a bit extreme but my bf was sheltered by his parents. He's one of the most socially awkward people you'll ever meet, and trust me he suffers for it.
"The cultural commissars in the colleges and entertainment factories see it as their duty to pound out every “primitive” inhibition out of college-age youth that parents spent 18 years trying to instill."
Instilling is exactly what does the damage in this country (as in when you can't have it, you want it even more and you don't know how to handle it)...I could rant on but I'm afraid my arguments will involve some things that are a bit too heavy for this forum.

w/o porn where would youngsters learn how to reproduce?
And the human race would die off.

Instilling.......maybe if we didn't spend 18-19 years being instilled we wouldn't be as wild as we supposedly are now..... My rant is officially finished

Well, first of all, the best and worst list for this week I whole heartedly agreed with. Family Guy and Stacked are on my ‘worst’ list too. But I know there are Family Guy fans on here so I won’t go into detail lest I offend. XD Anyway, I agree that they sound over bearing and cynical; and that they could be more objective in their decisions, but their goal is noble enough. I mean, cleaning up TV is an excellent idea. There is a lot of crap to clean up lately.
But that aside, the Narnia thing was… wholly amusing. Not to mention ridiculous.

Technically, any channel that you pay for (cable, satillite) they can put whatever they want on it. It is only the public free channels that the FCC can censor. Anyways the PTC can do whatever they want, it doesn't affect me, I'll still watch Family Guy or any other show that I like.
