Hi E-chan!!!!! :D
*joins e-chan singing* XD
Just by imaginating the concept of the show based around those pairings makes me feel good too x)
Zukaang would produce the best babies if possible indeed, as Kyatto said, they are the Avatar and a Fire Prince after all, goofy airbenders with good hairstyles.^^

OMG! *dies from laughing* That is SO sick. You know you like it. LOL. That would be awesome! Katara, awestruck by Aang's decision to leave her for the ex-Fire Prince, decided to see what was so great about Fire Nation royalty. Yes. I approve. More love for lesbians, please. Because Azula is secretly sensitive for girls. And she likes Katara's water whips. Absolutely. Not enough lesbian-love in this fandom! And Azula clicks with girls -- I'm telling you. She likes the water whips, and the water whips like her back. <3Because hey. It's the Avatar and the Fire Prince. They would make the best butt babies ever. If it were possible. I confirm this. Yes it would be awesome! (Hi Zoisaito XD) Zukaang, Azutara!!! Hi, Ethe! It's two awesome 'ships for the price of one!

^You know how that is, don't you?
It all started with Rozin.
See, Zuko and Azula inherited it from both their great-grandfathers, who we all know were secret lovers. The union of Ursa ( Roku's descendant ) and Ozai ( Sozin's descendant ) resulted in gay genes from both family trees showing up in the Fire siblings. The fandom, in denial as per usual, tries unsuccessfully to obscure this fact, but the proof is there.
Someone needs to write this...

LOL, sure they are, they got it from Ozai >D I mean how else he could had stood so much time without Ursa? And yeah, while Katara is still sad about finding out about Aang and Zuko real bond, Azula would help her to forget him by showing her how awesome is the FN royalty is indeed.^^ While Zuko and Aang are enjoying themselves and getting to appreciate eachother from other POVS. It is a double win deal <3 Someone needs to write this... ^Ooh, I may take the challenge.^^

*pat* Yasu'll write! >D Fandom tries to deny everything with solid proof. They are afraid of the pure win that is Zukaang and Azutara! The FN is corrupt... just my kinda place to live~ How is Azutara sick? Hmm... buttbabies...

Yasu, expect a generous amount of karma from me if you write it.
Oh, Ethe, you speak a powerful but unfortunate truth. It's right out there for all to see, but the denial continues. Tsk, tsk.
As for how Azutara is "sick": I have no idea. It's steamy; that much I know for sure.

As for how Azutara is "sick": I have no idea. It's steamy; that much I know for sure. I just have this feeling that if AtLA weren't on Nick, and wasn't so "just for kids" the gay subtext would be more than subtext. You know, when a seven-year-old asks you "Is Jet going to kiss Zuko?" while watching "The Serpents Pass" that says something. Azula is such a kick butt lesbian. It's hard for me to see her as being straight, it really is. She clicks so well with Ty Lee too. Girls respond better to controlling types than most guys. I like seeing her as a lesbian, more so than just a socially awkward messed up girl. Zuko has always seemed bi-curious to me. Once we got confirmation at the end of Book 2 that he's definitely not asexual. Spending all that time on a ship, he had to pick up something. Not mention Zhao was a total creep towards him. Then there was his obsession with Aang, and Jet was practically all over him. Yeah, he clearly enjoyed making out with Mai, but I'm pretty sure him making out with Aang would be steamy too. And Aang is the Avatar. He can get anything he darn well wants. If he wants Katara to marry, he gets KAtara to marry. And then at night if he wants to play tonsil hockey with Zuko, then he sure as heck can. I rest my case.

I just have this feeling that if AtLA weren't on Nick, and wasn't so "just for kids" the gay subtext would be more than subtext. Yeah. They gave us enough subtext to piece together Jetko, Tyzula, and Azuki... just imagine if they'd been allowed to go further. Azula is such a kick butt lesbian. It's hard for me to see her as being straight, it really is. She clicks so well with Ty Lee too. Girls respond better to controlling types than most guys. I like seeing her as a lesbian, more so than just a socially awkward messed up girl. Bravo. I've never believed Azula to be straight. In The Beach, she reminded me of a lesbian who felt pressured to conform and be "normal" -- and looked hideously awkward in her attempt to live up to the status-quo; to fit in. All she was doing was taking Ty Lee's advice, anyway. In contrast, her interaction with girls, particularly Ty Lee, has always been fluid and confident. Zuko has always seemed bi-curious to me. This is an interesting thought. Thinking back to his interactions with Jet and now Aang, I'm apt to agree. Your whole post deserves karma, especially the part about Azula. *Exalts!*

I just have this feeling that if AtLA weren't on Nick, and wasn't so "just for kids" the gay subtext would be more than subtext. It's only fun if there's just subtext, though. Only characters who aren't canonically openly declared gay get put in popular slash pairings. No exceptions, no matter the fandom. I don't understand it, I've just observed it.

Well how many stories feature several openly gay characters for people to ship?
Kinda have to dig into the realm of imagination for slash I guess.

^Yeah, they leave us way too much info to speculate about though. I just have this feeling that if AtLA weren't on Nick, and wasn't so "just for kids" the gay subtext would be more than subtext. Yeah, hopefully as Mike and Brian make other Avatar series they will be giving it a higher rating so many things could be confirmated first hand. Azula is such a kick butt lesbian. It's hard for me to see her as being straight, it really is. She clicks so well with Ty Lee too. Girls respond better to controlling types than most guys. I like seeing her as a lesbian, more so than just a socially awkward messed up girl. -ponders- Maybe the creators make up everything like this so us can only wish them to make a higher rated Avatar series. Indeed, all that time him up in that ship he had to pick up something, but maybe he did'nt do anything 'cause they were older people than him...

It's especially true in a lot of anime fandoms. Though Haruka/Michiru in Sailor Moon was popular, and it was canon. It really depends on what it is and what's going on, I think. When Zuko got his development in Book 2 he just kind of struck me as not being 100% into the ladies. I don't know. *shrug*
