Giancarlo will tease the fans, but I don't think the same can be said of Mike and Bryan--at least not to the same degree.
I still believe that Song's storyline with Zuko is not resolved--and I know I'm not alone in this, not even outside this thread. If they leave her storyline unfinished, that's just lazy writing. Now the writing has been slightly improving ever since DoBS, but all the same, I'm now a bit worried that they're still not moving fast enough to pull off the story in the best way.

If it does get touched upon, I am prepared to be given nothng but a morsel. Like seeing Jin in the Awakening,
which I hope not, but we seemed to be in the minority of Avatar fandom.

We may believe Song needs closure...but do the writers?

I don't think Song need closure as much as I would like to see her again. I only see her as a one time character.

I think she does need closure because otherwise it seems like Zuko's character theme is not fulfilled. If he is supposed to be portraying the theme of redemption, and he never makes amends with her, that makes it unfulfilled. If they had just let her go into the house without that last look, then I'd figure she was gone for good--but we saw her get hurt. Why have the audience see her get hurt by the 'redemption' character if it's not supposed to be fixed later? Something about that does not make sense, all bias aside. I mean, why the focus? Why waste the money giving that focus if it wasn't meant to be righted later?

Song's not the only one he owes... I wonder if Mai's expression will be the same...?

Maybe for like two seconds then that will be replaced by an intanse urge to send knives flying in his direction.

Mai is such an expressionless character that it's somewhat hard to say (and she's never been 'broken' technically, unless her parents telling her to stop complaining counts) but the last thing I'd want her to do is her to go running back to Zuko without him doing more then saying that he's sorry (to her face.) She's enough of a Shallow Female Love Interest as it is, that would just make it worse. (Then again, given the amount of fanboi-ing done to Katara alone this season, Maiko's characterization actually makes sense. ) And before someone decides to play Devil's Advocate Zuko apologizing to Song is on a different level, and they'd be friends first as a result. What could result after is another story. :B

Well, and no offense to Jin, but ToBSS was complete filler. Fillers never get referenced again, do they? Not to mention, he was there to see Jin get hurt, and there's really nothing he can do about it. He can't really apologize more than he already has except in what he's doing now by aiding the Avatar. The reason this doesn't quite fit the same level as Song is because he didn't get to see her pain and he knows he's done her wrong in a way that he can make up to her. This means if he does make amends, it's not because he got caught (because he doesn't know he was caught, he didn't see her pain), but rather because he knows he needs to make things right. You can apologize for thievery. You can't really apologize for how you feel. =\ Man, does that make sense. I just got over a mean migraine.

Then again no one really got to see her pain. I mean sure we got the nanosecond of her looking disappointed as she closed the dorr. But what happened after that? Did she drown her sorrows in duck and soapy bath water? was she sad for a bit then ok the next? Or did she hire a bounty hunter with a large shirsu?
Only M&B know and the bastiges aren't talking!!!!
yes this was a silly post, but i get that way if I havent had my slurpee........

If Song where to come out again I think Zuko would apologize to her. But I think its very unlikely if he ever sees Song or Jin again.

It does look that way, but I'm still hoping they weren't lying last summer when they said if the characters were alive, there was a good chance of seeing them again.

I also hope we see Song again
@ inuyatta- That post you made , has me re-thinking what I said earlier in light of all you said it makes sense for Song to come out again.

I see many reasons for Song's return, removing all of my bias for this ship aside. She will help Zuko come full circle with his theme, and she really would be helpful in relieving Katara from healing duties. If one thing was made clear during the invasion, it's that when Katara is kept as a healer, she is almost completely handicapped--let's just say, they were extremely lucky to only have ONE wounded soldier. =p
Not to mention, Katara is going to have to get through her crisis with bloodbending. It seems strange to me that they would hand her this one major weapon right before the invasion and she DIDN'T use it.
