Sorry I waited so long to check back in. >.<;; Andrew.Sakura Elric: I don't have a request shop atm, but I might start one in the future. The new site I started up, Cloudchaser Designs, has a request page, which is currently offline however. And I get what you're asking about the sigs. Essentially, those in the portfolio/gallery images are essentially in that format for display only. So, I'd prefer it if you didn't crop it off, but you can if you like, as long as you give credit and suff. Anything on the sigs page on CCD, though, is free for use without needing to credit or anything, but I'd prefer it if on the other ones that'd you'd ask first so I can give you a direct link to the individual or crop for you. @___@ That was like crazy confusing run-on sentenceness. xDDDD @west: Thanks. I see what you're saying about the textures being a major part of some of the icons, but that's actually one of my favorite styles, so I kinda just do it if I like it. ^^;; I'll try to cut back some though. @tiaramaki: Yup, I'm totally into anime and FF and junk. And just for you, I'll do a Genesis icon next time I open up my Photoshop. Anyway, if ya didn't notice already, I gots a new graphic site open. I don't really want to advertise it though, so... But I also have a blog up, and it has all my graphic work posted on it. ;D BB's BlogHere's some more recent stuff: Cnc pleeeeease. ^____^

*shrugs* May-be, idk. xDD Doubt it, but thanks bud. x3 New stuff: I have some new abstracty-texture type stuff I've been making during spare moments at school, but we're limited to internet access, so I'm not sure when I'll be able to get it up, but I'll try for tomorrow. CnC.

You posted a dump yesterday. There is no need to bump your thread only one day after an update.

Um... today's the 29th, pretty close to 30th, right? I know the bumping policy on most forums is once every 24 hours, so what is it here?

First of all, when you do bump a thread, make sure you have something new to add to the thread and not with just a "euhm... bump?".
That post, which I assume you have deleted now, had just one word and had no content whatsoever, which was therefore basically spam.
As for the time limit for a bump, I don't think that has been established officially yet. I personally think a thread is bump-worthy when it's not on the first page anymore or at least at the bottom of it. Which makes it at least 5 days or so.

Alright, I understand and I won't do it again. I'm just used to PBS' policies on bumping, so I guess I never really thought about it being spam, but I can definitely see your point. However, being off of the first page in this board is almost 2 months old, not 5 days. And, no offense intended, but posting a reply that doesn't contribute to the thread, even if it is to explain a rule, is just as bad as spamming, at least in my opinion. Sorry, it just bugs me when nobody leaves any comments, which is the point of the thread, so that's also why I got so anxious and bumped the thread earlier than I should have. xDD And yeah, I did delete the post, it was spam after all... should I not have? (Grr, different forums, different rules, so confusion ensues xP) Anyway, I'll post some more stuff, and I'd appreciate it if all comments can be left to the CnC of my work. Thanks.

There isn't really a set time that makes bumping "allowable" however we prefer you don't bump threads if you have nothing new to add or the thread is on the first page as Kohana said. Just because you don't get responses immediately doesn't mean you need to bump your thread.
I think your icons are interesting however I have to be honest, their not really my kind of icons ^^; The colors are so saturated it just distorts the image to me. So what could have been a nice icon just seems... unnatural and odd to me in the end. That's my honest opinion however I'm sure others will view your work differently.

Honestly, your stuff is a little over-saturated, like Empy said. D:
A lot of them have wonderful crops and good potential, but the effects and over-saturation make the image just...distorted. Perhaps lighten up on the coloring techniques? Sometimes the more simple your icons are, the better. : D

Yeah, I agree, bit to hasty on my account. But, if you'll look at my track record in this thread, I seem to go exceedingly long periods of time without a response. xP Bit too anxious on my part though, my bad. xDD And as far as the saturation goes, I think it's a matter of personal taste. I like really colorful icons, and other people don't, at least in my experience. Now if by saturation you meant as in the sort of posturized effect in some, I get what you're saying. That kind of vintage, grungy feel (accentuated by the high contrast/saturation levels) is one of my favorite styles, and I think I've been relying a bit too much on it lately. If it's really off-putting though, I'll definitely try to cut back. ^.^ But crop and composition is alright? Good to know. And I would go with the simple thing, but I always feel so lazy. xP I feel like all I'm doing is making a base, not an icon with some effort put into it, but that's just me. xDD And I've been mentally abused in the past for supposedly "overly critiquing someone's critique" in the past, so please don't hit me! >.<;; lol And before it's too late: CnC!
