Well, I've been in a cooking mood lately so here are the pictures along with their recipes. ^_^
Chocolate Chip Cookies:
Ingredients
2 cups and 2 tablespoons of all purpose flour
1 1/2 sticks of unsalted butter (melted)
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of Baking soda
1/2 cup of Granulated Sugar
1 Cup of light or dark brown sugar, packed
1 egg and 1 egg yolk (I used 2 eggs and I think it's still alright. Either way, it's good ^_^)
2 Teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
Chocolate Chips
First, preheat your oven to 325 degrees and set the oven racks to the middle and top.
Preparation:
Step 1: Mix the salt, Flour, and Baking Soda in a medium bowl and set aside.
Step 2: Combine the sugars, Vanilla and butter with an electric mixer (careful, don't splatter! ) Then, beat in the eggs.
Step 3: Slowly combine in the flour and beat with the sugar mixture. Once it is all mixed together, stir in as many chocolate chips as you want.
Step 4: Roll the cookies into balls and set on a greased baking sheet 2 1/2 inches apart.
Note: If you want an attractive finish, tear the balls apart and then put them back together with the uneven edges facing top.
Step 5: Bake the cookies for about 7-8 minutes and then switch the racks (Middle goes to top rack and vice versa) and bake for another 7 minutes.
Then, enjoy! ^_^
Here is a picture of the dough I got:
The finished Product:
This one has only 1 egg and one egg yolk.
This one has a little more butter and 2 eggs. Because of the butter, it had a softer texture and flattened out more ^_^
I'll post my Snickerdoodle recipe later along with my recipe for spicy corn soup.
