Me? Well, my family always gives their opinions on it and sometimes I'll give my friends to see. My brother's friends also commented on my cookies but other than that, I don't really talk to anyone on my cooking.
I'm going to see if I can make puppy chow and Buckeyes not to mention cookies for a bake sale coming up next Friday ^_^

Wow! I haven't update this in forever ^^; Well, I have a new recipe for you all and also some tips for bake sales. Well, I'll start with the bake sales. I bake for quite a few fund raising groups and often don't hve time to make things from scratch. A great way to get over this is to get some pre-made cake mix and add your own flare to it in decorating. Use a theme! For example, in a bake sale before the big OSU vs. Michigan game, I made Red Velvet cupcakes, topped them with white icing and scarlet and grey M&Ms. A little before Halloween, I made some cupcakes as well but this time I used orange icing and some holiday sprinkles ^_^ Close-upMore!But now for the real recipe. I made some muffins from scratch and I actually really liked them. The kind I made was Cranberry-Orange-Walnut but you can substitute Chocolate chips or whatever you like. Now, on to the recipe! 3 Cups of all Purpose Flour 1 Tablespoon of Baking Powder 1/2 Teaspoon of Baking Soda 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt 10 Tablespoons of unsalted butter, softened 1 Cup minus one tablespoon of granulated sugar 2 large eggs 1 1/2 Cups of plain low-fat yogurt Step 1: Adjust the oven rack to lower/ middle position and preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl and set it aside. Step 2: Cream the butter and sugar with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until light and fluffy (About 2 minutes) Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Beat in one-half of dry ingredients and then beat in one-third of the yogurt. Beat in the remaining dry ingredients in two batches, alternating with yogurt until incorporated. After, add what you would like. I can post the specific variations later but they include Mocha Chip Apricot-Almond, Raspberry-Almond, Cranberry-Walnut-Orange, Lemon-Blueberry, and Lemon Poppyseed muffins. PM or post if you want to know how to make the variations. Making them only needs a slight modification to the recipe so I'll let you know. For the muffins I made, I added 1 teaspoon to the butter mixture and fold in 1 1/2 cups of coarsely chopped cranberries and 3/4 cup of chopped walnuts. Here's what the batter ends up looking like: Step 3: Grease a 12-cup muffin tin. Divide the batter evenly among the cups and bake the muffins until they are golden brown (25-30 minutes). Set the muffins on a wire rack to cool for about 5 minutes. The finished product!!

Well, I've been in a cooking mood lately so here are the pictures along with their recipes. ^_^ Chocolate Chip Cookies: Ingredients 2 cups and 2 tablespoons of all purpose flour 1 1/2 sticks of unsalted butter (melted) 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of Baking soda 1/2 cup of Granulated Sugar 1 Cup of light or dark brown sugar, packed 1 egg and 1 egg yolk (I used 2 eggs and I think it's still alright. Either way, it's good ^_^) 2 Teaspoons of Vanilla Extract Chocolate Chips First, preheat your oven to 325 degrees and set the oven racks to the middle and top. Preparation: Step 1: Mix the salt, Flour, and Baking Soda in a medium bowl and set aside. Step 2: Combine the sugars, Vanilla and butter with an electric mixer (careful, don't splatter! ) Then, beat in the eggs. Step 3: Slowly combine in the flour and beat with the sugar mixture. Once it is all mixed together, stir in as many chocolate chips as you want. Step 4: Roll the cookies into balls and set on a greased baking sheet 2 1/2 inches apart. Note: If you want an attractive finish, tear the balls apart and then put them back together with the uneven edges facing top. Step 5: Bake the cookies for about 7-8 minutes and then switch the racks (Middle goes to top rack and vice versa) and bake for another 7 minutes. Then, enjoy! ^_^ Here is a picture of the dough I got: The finished Product: This one has only 1 egg and one egg yolk. This one has a little more butter and 2 eggs. Because of the butter, it had a softer texture and flattened out more ^_^ I'll post my Snickerdoodle recipe later along with my recipe for spicy corn soup. I'm drooling! I love choc chip! ;D I might try it. I'm a bit of a cook myself I might try it.

Awesome, I'm glad to hear it ^_^ I also received a recipe for cake from my buddy Rogue-Angel that I really want to try soon. Once I make it, I'll post the results but first... I made more cupcakes! It's really fun the different ways you can decorate them. I made a V-Day version as well with white ore pink icing and red velvet cake along with red sugar sprinkles. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures. Anywho, one of my most recent creations!
