Well okay... Another project I produced was for a local cable affiliate. I made a couple of short 5 minute ‘Video Game Review’ segments that were incorporated into a larger program made up of other ‘trendy’ what's-happening-now-in-the-world-of-material-pursuits reports. I’m going to warn you- I personally hosted these segments myself because, well… I couldn’t get anyone else to do it. I hate my on-screen presence and line delivery and I look pretty wiped-out. I haven’t actually seen these in a few years and seeing them again now I recall that I made them when I was dealing with a pretty serious illness. I’m thin (I had lost almost 35 lbs.), pale, and have 10-ton bags under my eyes. It may be pure vanity, but think I look REALLY bad. So don't have any babies in the room when you play these. They just might start crying. Remember, this was a couple years ago when the DS first came out. I had actually just barely managed to get mine before this video was made. So if some of the technical facts I mention in it are wrong... That's because I was making them up. XD Oh yes- To answer the question posed at the end of the video: The DS destroys the PSP in every conceivable way. The gig only lasted for two episodes because I was the only one who actually completed the video segments he was hired to do on time and the show was soon cancelled. Which was actually okay with me. I didn't need the short & stressful deadlines and I still got something solid for my portfolio out of it. So that’s a bit of what I do you if you were curious to know. I have other projects in the works as always. I'll have to see if I can find any of my old college stuff... That junk was weird... Meh, better than anything I'll ever see on G4 BA-ZING!!

Again, thanks everyone! Have you ever considerd working in hollywood? You're really good! Actually I did right out of college. I discovered something that didn't work well for my circumstance in life though. You see, Hollywood jobs are not like ordinary jobs where you have a steady paycheck, health insurance, retirement benefits, dental plans... When you're a low man on totem pole you can usually only find work as PA (production assitant) and can work on a show (industry term for any production be it a movie, tv series, commerical, etc.) for a few weeks and maybe for a couple hundred dollars pay. When that production wraps after a weeks (sometimes they're only a couple days), you're out of a job. You have to go hunting for another show to find work on. Remember when I mentioned being ill for a time? Well without the safety net of health insurance under me I found myself facing thousands and thousands of dollars in medical bills if I didn't get a real, steady job with coverage to help me with it. A good buddy of mine still lives out in LA and is getting work as an AC (assitant cameraman) on bigger pictures now. He recently worked on Pirates of the Carribean 3! But of course he was able to stay as healthy as a horse for the years he's been out there and he has to work non-stop top be able to pay his crazy apartment fees. So... What to do? I have a good job where I'm at and it pays pretty darn good. Since I don't live the Hollywood life where I work as a lacky I'll just have to get in other ways. Honstly if a job doesn't challenge you creativly or professionally, it's not worth it. I found I didn't want to spend 15 years of my life standing on a street corner, keeping people from walking onto a set. Afetr all there's more than one way to skin a dead poodle monkey. I don't think there's ever been a better self-promotion vehicle than this here interent. I enjoy getting feedback so I'm glad for your compliments and I'm happy you've enjoyed my stuff so far.
