"What is your opion on the leaked episodes and whatnot (the DVD coming out before they air yadayada) and I'm wondering if you could possibly give a little insight on what happened? I know a bunch of the writers from pretty much everywhere went on strike but I don't fully understand."
Alas...Nick doesn't include me in the loop. I find out things just as you do...on the internet!
As for the WGA strike...
It had no bearing on "Avatar." Animation writing isn't covered by the Writers Guild of America.
Have a fabulous weekend, all!

Hello, Mr. Baldwin! I just wanted to say that I love your work as Iroh! He remains one of my favorite characters of all time. It is very good of you to talk to your fans as well! I appreciate it soo much!! I don't know if this has been asked yet or not, and I'm sorry if it has, but: if you hadn't started voice acting Iroh in the middle of the series, or if you'd had a choice, would there be a different way you would choose to have him sound? I was also wondering if maybe you knew anything about the upcoming movie? Did your friend get the part of Sokka?

What are the relationships like between the different Voice Actors? Since most of you guys work out of different studios and whatnot, do you ever even interact? If so, is it all business or do you guys get chances to just hang?

I know this is slightly off topic, but I just found out you were Fontaine in Bioshock (my brother is replaying the game and I've been watching him play it for a second time). Amazing job, Greg.

Greetings and salutations!
Sorry it's been so long...but my kids are FINALLY out of school. I wish I could tell you I've been extraordinarily busy with my acting career...but mainly my life has been filled with all manner of end-of-the-school-year insanity. My youngest graduated from Middle School! I feel old. I AM old. Ah, well...
Maybe I can finally catch up with your questions.
"So...is there any way you can talk them into 4 seasons?"
If only! Before I was Iroh...I was a fan of the show just like everyone else. I'd LOVE to see more episodes. Of course...I'd also LOVE to be in more episodes. Who knows?
"Are you going to audition for the movie?"
I keep waiting for M. Night to call! I also keep waiting to read in the trades that Sir Anthony Hopkins has been cast as Iroh. (Saaay...he'd actually be pretty good! Although I still prefer Shatner!)
"Are you going to try for flashback Iroh or the sixty year old one?"
I'd take "Infant Iroh" if it were offered.
"Who would you want to score or compose the music for the live-action movie?"
I'm rather fond of Thomas Newman's work.
"Mr. Baldwin, how is the best way to get or find an agent?"
Live in Los Angeles. Work hard. Learn your craft. And, oh...sell your soul. (Just kidding!)
"Have they casted the role for Toph?"
Not that I know of. I suspect M. Night has been quite busy prepping and promoting "The Happening."
"Do you if Mike and Bryan are working on anything other than the movie? Mostly I want to if they are seriously considering another season(s) of Avatar, speculating about another season, or if they are going in another direction."
I only know what I can ascertain by scouring the Internet. I read that Mike and Bryan might have alluded to a possible Iroh spin-off in NYC. That would certainly by a-okay in my book! My gut feeling, though, is that any spin-off would be based on a much younger (i.e., fourteen year old) Iroh. Understand...I'm simply speculating. You know as much as I do. Maybe I could narrate each episode ala "A Christmas Story." You know..."I remember Ozai was really being a jerk that day...!"
"Mr. Baldwin could you tell me if that is your neighbor?"
Negative. Not my neighbor.
Memo to Coppa: I look pretty good in the Iroh costume...if I do say so myself!
"Ok...personal question, do you make your kids crack up with your voices?"
Alas, no. They've been hearing my schtick since they were toddlers. What's cool is that they can actually DO some of the voices now! LA is a strange place. They're used to being around actors and industry people. When they're friends with the sibling of one of the "High School Musical" stars...their old man seems somewhat less than impressive.
TTFN. I'll try to keep up with the questions in a more timely fashion.
Comic-con is coming! I will...of course...be there with my son as is my custom. I look forward to seeing some of you there.

Hello, Mr. Baldwin!!
This has probably been asked before but if Mike and Bryan created another animated series, would you try out for a voice acting role for it? I know that Pixar reuses voice actors for their movies as a humorous touch and I'd think it'd be awesome if you planned on doing something like that ('cause we know M&B have much more to offer to the world).
Thank you. ^^

Hi Mr. Baldwin! Wow I'm talking to a famous person now! This is exciting! I think you mentioned something about voicing a Fire Nation soldier who had a funny line before you took over for Iroh. What line was that? If you never said that, sorry, but I thought I remembered you saying that. I never can remember this either, but in which episodes did you voice Iroh? I know it's late season 2, but I don't remember when exactly. You're obviously doing a very good job because I can't tell the difference. Is Iroh going to have a new, tough voice now that he's super buff? hehe That'd be cool. Thanks for coming here and answering our questions! When I first came here I read through this whole thread and it was very interesting. Keep up the good work!

Good evening, Mr. Baldwin. It's been a while since I've posted in this Q&A thread I created (just thought I'd slide that in there). I do have a question for you about screenplay writing. I'm an amateur writer who wishes to make a name for himself in the future. I know the concept that "Hollywood can make you or break you," but is it entirely possible that with the amount of dedication and persistence, I could possibly have a screenplay that I will write in the not-so-distant future become an actual movie?
As for your work on Avatar, would you say that you feel as sagely as Iroh because of his wondrous advice and almost limitless wisdom, and (since you may have heard briefly about or read the scripts for Chapters 15 onward, a.k.a. the "leaked" episodes) did you enjoy the impersonation of Iroh that Dante Basco (for those who don't know, he is the voice actor of Zuko) attempted? Then again, you are an impersonator (no offensive tone in that last statement, I assure you, sir) of the great Mako––God, what a fateful day that must have been.

Greetings, Mr. Baldwin. Iroh is awesome. To tell you the truth, I was surprised when I heard about the change of voice actors, so kudos.
If you could give Iroh any super-power other than firebending, what would it be? Also, what would you give yourself?

Sorry to pile on you, but I've just wanted to know.
What is it like in the recording studio? And what are Mike and Bryan like?
Thank you for your time.

Bad news, all.
Well...it's not REALLY terrible news...it's just rather unfortunate.
My son is appearing in a play the weekend of Comic-con so I won't be attending this year.
I was really looking forward to meeting some of you!
Ah, well. What can you do?
