^Go rob3rtman!!! He's the boldest of them all... show everyone the pride of A:TLA... *waterbends amazing statue of rob3rtman in honor of his boldness* ;D I know this is a little off topic, but I'm a little worried about not having time for Avatar when I go to high school next year... That's why I'm hoping that Season 3 comes out before September!!!

Psh I'm in my senior year of high school, and trust me, you'll MAKE TIME for Avatar. Also, a new episode is always a wonderful treat at the end of the week.

Okay, well my friend and I were in the library and I didn't want to do the work. So were else do I go? Here of course! So I'm on here and my friend is all like "why do you like that mentally challenged show" and I was all like "It's not mentally challenged. It's actually really good" and then I started to explain to him that it has a really deep plot and really good action and he was "Isn't that for kids?" I I was like "Not necessarily" And he's like " God. Your a crazy b**ch". But thats the only bad time anything has happened.
But a few good things has happened. I was in Science, and I really wanted to learn how to draw the fire bending symbol and this really REALLY hot guy asks if it was from Neruto. I said no, it's from Avatar the Last Air bender and he said "Oh I really like that show" And we had this huge talk about it.
And another time this other guy I really REALLY like asked to use my phone. And on my phone, it has this really cute picture of Aang kissing Toph's cheek as a background. And he's like "Oh thats so cute" And now we talk about Avatar regularly.

^I am jealous of lucky people like you, lol! ;D News for being made fun of Avatar: I have this other friend who told me that he wouldn't tell anyone if I told him what this forum was about (only caught a glimpse of it in library) and he said to trust him, so I tell him... And after that, he keeps blackmailing me and pulling my leg with it!

And after that, he keeps blackmailing me and pulling my leg with it! Honestly, kids these days... Don't listen to the babbling dunderheads who try to intimidate you with their puny words of foolishness. They'll try to make anything you like into something horrible and "unholy to the hierarchy of the school kids". Be confident about what you like, and don't worry about them gossiping and such, it all passes one day. For the pulling-your-leg guy, Nokoro, I suggest you just flat-out ignore him. I know it's hard sometimes, but if they're so immature as to have gossip as their main object of conversation, it will be worth it to get the upper hand. Sigh, I remember when I was in public school, the kids would over-react about something to pick on a poor chap and gain respect from their temporary friends. Don't be too offended about them, keep your emotions simple and under control, "So what? If you don't like what I do or like, then I'm okay with that." If you have nothing to fear, they have nothing to gain. Well, they never really had anything to gain in the first place. Anyway, just keep focus on the big picture. As for me, I pretty much have a good social Avatar-relationship. Being home schooled helps, I get to interact with my good friends and only my good friends. But I know what it feels like to be in the middle of classmate gossip. (I didn't know about avatar in my public school years, so I don't have any stories to tell here)

I have a picture of Zuko on my locker at school, and it recently got defaced by some Avatar-haters...they scrawled "AVATAR IS GAY" all over it, and drew a joint in Zuko's mouth. I took it down and put a new one up.
My best friend is an anime purist (as in, he doesn't like anything that comes over to the states because he thinks it must have been "corrupted"), and one day while I was telling him how cool Avatar is, he went off and said that Avatar was one of the most pointless shows he'd ever scene, and he couldn't believe a smart guy like me would watch trash like that. I didn't talk to him for a week.

Wow....our fandom is pretty arrogant <<. We're puching people in face because they dislike our show. Wow you lot are really immature.
Honestly if kids want to deface my avatar art or trash talk me. They can go ahead. I won't sink to thier level like the rest of you <<;
My lover dislikes avatar, and I'm alright with it. We have pretty strong relationship so we don't need trivalites like TV shows to drain it down.
Honestly fandom...grow up,

Oh okay, I'll be here and *sqeeIloveAvatarnomatterwhatyousayandyoucancallmeacrazybi***!* No thanks. People are reacting to the way others treat them and not necisarilly what they like. People are going "I hate Avatar, it sucks" AND THEN "Your an idiot for liking it." They're insutling you as a person not the show itself. Now you wanna tell the people to grow up because they're defending themselves in their way? Psh I'm in my senior year of high school, and trust me, you'll MAKE TIME for Avatar. Oh, and Amen to that ;D I'm a senior also, I'm just worried that with my job and college starting this summer that I won't be able to watch Avatar as much. Thats what the internet is for though!

Because people are not handling confrontation maturely. Make themselves look immature and childish. It's bloody TV show, and coming from a elementry school that belittles you if you have disablity or not Catholic, I say "Defending" yourself by calling them name, hitting them or sinking to their level. Make you look worse then those that taunt you. Honestly guys your behavior is appaling and whats worse were applauding it. <<

Yeah, it's called "not being a jelly-boned wimp". I for one won't stand for people insulting me; why should I? I'm not a sponge that soaks up insults.
Now I'll admit, taking it to physical confrontation is not wise; it could get you into a lot of trouble at school, but somebody's gotta teach those little ba******s some respect for their peers (and suffering will be their teacher).
