This episode was great! My favorite part was the scary stories that Sokka and Katara were telling in the beggining

That episode was shockingly dark. It actually scared me a bit. Katara was crying at the end. I wonder how if she'll ever use her powers again. And, also, I wonder if the creators saw the fanfics about bloodbending or if they just thought of it themselves.

omg......wow thats just amazing. Think wat Katara can do now!!! maybe she can make Sokka a slave???!YEah. She's probably gonna refuse to us it. ....Till the invasion. But it's funny how earlier in the series, people were saying, "There's no such thing a metalbending/bloodbending!" "Ha!" to them. ;P ha indeed.....I am not sure that Katara will use it in the invasion...I guess we will see in a few weeks

It really sucked how they aired the creepy Halloween based episode a week after Halloween in the US.

It going to hard to study how not to use it cause once you pick up a techquie...it very hard not to try it
this episode had an equal blance...sure it was katara base but it seem everyone had there fare share of lines...and sadly the only way katara was to stop her was to bendblood

Hama has lived in the Fire Nation for at least 40 years.
She kidnaps two or so people a month and lock them up and let them rot and die. I reckon she's killed hundreds and hundreds of Fire Nation citizens in years she's been there.
She took out her anger on regular Fire Nation citizens.

Anyone have AIM to talk about this live? My screenname is sweet1992bird, someone invite me to a chat xD
I found it interesting to see the fire nation prisoners, though; it was even worse that in Imprisoned. It also explained where all the waterbenders went. The things the fire nation did to the prisoners were horrifying. I'm sure most of them have probably died by now, because of the time passed and the terrible conditions. And Hama was friends with Kana, did anyone else notice? And the southern water tribe looked like it was prospering.
But Hama became as bad as the fire nation when she learned bloodbending. THAT'S the creepiest part.

Wow, creepiest/coolest episode thus far in book 3! The ending was phenomenal. Finally we see a dark side to water bending. ;D

I made up a lot of those waterbending concepts Hama told Katara like two years ago. I hate it when I make something good up and find out months later that others broadcasted it to the public! >_<
But this episode was pretty good. The end put shivers down my spine, though.

I dont think that Katara would use that technique unless she really had to. I more excited about how shes going to use her ability to draw water from plants and even thin air in the future.
Its too bad Hama was crazy, she would have been great for Katara otherwise. That technique is useful to know, but only for dire situations.
Also I think its stupid how they refer to it as "Bloodbending" when what it really is is the liquid in the blood being controlled. I think its misleading. But we now know that offspring bending is possible, what with the "Metalbending", "Lightningbending" and the "Bloodbending"... what do you guys think is coming next? The only element that hasnt shown a varied bending is air..
