Definitely not. "The Avatar and the Fire Lord" is going to blow you away, and then that accursed blemish on your signature will be outta there! Do you have inside information or something? I AM very fussy...it's got to be something really big to make that count go...

Pretty good episode but not much action. Though I think the story overall adds much more to an episode then some bending.
And did anyone else feel a bit awkward watching the beach scenes? I mean.... When I was 15 (though that wasn't too long ago).... No girl was as uh....Hmm....Developed as say Azula and Ty Lee. I understand that everyone fills out at their own pace but it sorta freaked me out. I'm watching Aang fighting Combustion man and then it does a scene flip back to scantily clad fire bending girls. This in turn leads me to scream in my head "AUGH! bad thoughts, bad thoughts!"

As many others have said nandireya, I myself believe that you will like this episode and your count may in fact end with The Runaway. I saw #6 and I like it, for many of the reasons your disapointed, I think you may be a bit relieved. I know I was. But on the subject of The Beach, yeah still love it, although after seeing it many times, there was an awful lot of unnecesary stuff and I mean alot. Alot of symbolism and some forshadowing though. I just liked it I guess! And, yes everyone, the next episode WILL blow you away!

I doubt that there at young...seem like everyone in that party were young adults.. nick.com said she was 14 in season 2. So at best she's 15 now. I shouldn't care about it really. But it truly is hard to break the stigma that society has put on me and many young adults. The fact that if I'm 19, it's practically illegal for me to even think a 17 year old is cute. This crosses over from real life into everything from films to cartoons. Society hates the idea of you being attracted to someone under the age of 18. No matter if you're only a year older. I personally find that mentality to be ridiculous. But what I find to be okay and what others find to be socially acceptable are different. Hence why my brain keeps creaming WRONG! when I see someone who is 16 but is built like a 20 year old. It shouldn't make me feel stupid or bad for it but it does. And I hate our culture and society because it has brainwashed me like it has.

Well kids to grow-up faster then the previous generation...more ways then one. Though maybe because of the Fire kids height....girl are taller then boys in the pre-teen to midteen stages.

The episode is one of the better ones so far. This is coming from someone who went into it hating the idea of the epi for weeks. So I was shocked to learn that I liked it in the end. We all have our opinions I guess. Seeing the Royal family portrait made me wonder at what point in time did Ozai start being disappointed in Zuko, as in, when did the red flags go up that he was going to be, well, not like Azula? I would definitely like to see a flashback of that exact moment. I don't know if it was me, but Ozai looked kinda happy and Ursa had a sad look on her face. You know I wonder that too. It would seem Ozai and Zuko did have a normal father-son relationship. Also I was very shocked to see Ursa and Azula's faces so sad! Ozai's was all right, and Zuko's was very happy--but why were the girls so sad? Maybe they were angry that they had to sit near each other? XD

XD To me, none of them look particularly thrilled in this picture. Zuko seems pretty placid, but that's as close as it gets. The picture strikes me as one of those formal portraits that families insist upon doing at every several years or so. The photographer or artist fusses with you, telling you where to sit and how to pose. Nobody really wants to be there and the whole thing is rather strained. I can almost hear the portraitist saying, "Okay, let's have the kids in front. The girl can sit in front of Mom and the boy in front of Dad. Dad, let's have you put your hand on your son's shoulder. Oh, that's good. Little girl, look at the camera. Now smile, everyone! SMILE!" It's hard to tell what each of them is thinking in a picture like this, and it's very interesting to contemplate what might have been going on before the portrait was done and what the family situation was at this point.
