I felt really bad for Iroh as well. It kind of balanced out my Kataang happy high--except I was also happy that we even got to SEE Iroh--hopefully we get to hear him next.

That episode, and the short afterwards, rocked! pg15, I couldn't agree more with your comments on Zuko. Thank you! And a comment that I forgot to make, even though it seems nobody is complaining about it: Aang and Katara are back to normal, happy, kids, and there's not more aangsting...after what happened in "The Awakening"?! So fast?! YES, so fast. Katara's outburst and Aang's look at the end of that episode showed very well that they've come to accept what has happened. When something like that occurs, person's mood typically changes, as the weight of their issues are lifted. The apparent sudden character change between the premier and this episode is perfectly understandable.

The assassin looks like he can hold a friggin' Xierxu with one hand! Yeah I agree I wouldn't what to run into to him in a dark alley.

Aang, as a pimp person, truly evolved in the last three episodes. Especially towards Katara.

That was an awesome episode, I hope we get to see a lot more random filler episodes like that this season!

I don't know if it was confusion as much as it was he was being a brat and wanting everything his way. It looked to me as if he was throwing a tantrum. Like he said he got everything he wanted and it still was wrong (paraphrasing here)

That was an awesome episode, I hope we get to see a lot more random filler episodes like that this season! I don't see this episode as a random filler. Some parts of it may not have been that vital to the plot but after the last episode we really needed to see a more upbeat episode so it's not random. Also Combustion Man was hired in this episode and Zuko confronted Iroh which will both probably be important to the plot later on.

I have a question: Is the jerk really Zhao's son?

Lord, this eppie had some of the best lines: Aang: Sokka you get to be a normal kid all the time. Toph: Ha, ha! Mai: (while staring at a beautiful FN sunset) Orange is SUCH an ugly color. I could go on, but I'll spare you all. Did anyone else notice the evil glare that Mai gave Azula? It even had the dramatic music to go with it. I smell foreshadowing! As a Kataanger and Maiko-er I absolutely loved the interactions. They were true to the characters without being overdramatic and mushy. OOOOOOHHHHH POOR IROH! IWANTTOGIVEHIMAHUGSOBAD! And Zuko was hilarious. What an idiot. And Combustion Man=AWESOME! I'm really excited for the Painted Lady. She looks like a waterbender to me. I wonder if she is good, because in the magazine they mentioned a watertribe villain. Sweeeet. Yeah, the next eppie looks awesome! Seeing Iroh nearly made me cry. Here's more great lines. These made me lol. Mai: I don't hate you. Zuko: I don't hate you either. How stupid did that sound!XD

I think it would have been the same, minus the bending to me it looked alot like the first fight Aang and Zuko had in the first show.
