Okay i haven't posted in a while but I'm planning on doing it more often so here goes. I've seen topics on favorite episode, best episode, most well animated, blah blah blah. but i as of yet have not seen a worst episode thread. Now this does not mean an episode you hated because personally there are no avatar episodes i hate. it just means what do you think is the weakest episode plotwise, animationwise, in respects of guest characters, use your imagination.
Anyway for me after putting some thought into it i would have to say the great divide for various reasons that i may add to this post later.

Personally, I'd have to agree with you. Not only does the Great Divide not add to the plot's movement at all, it shows obstruction of movement to the north pole merely to get some bickering civilians across a giant canyon they just coulda FLOWN over. It did show Aang's mad skilz at helping people, just not anything else at all. The scenery was really beautiful, though.

Prol'ly... The Desert. The ONLY redeeming feature for episode was the moment at the end. Aang was just too OOC for my liking and I felt terribly dissappointed watching it. ...I dunno. I have mixed feelings about it. I liked The Great Divide because of the Canyon Guide (he was funny) and the moment when they were staring at the canyon: Katara: You could just stare at it forever... Sokka: Okay, I've seen enough.

I think there was another thread just like this one awhile back...
*checks*
If there was, they must've deleted it. For me, "The Great Divide".

Ok, so I'm not crazy thinking there was another thread like this. I can't find it either though. On Topic: I agree with the others that have said "The Great Divide". I just really didn't like the episode. I understand the creators were just trying to show that the Avatar is supposed to keep peace among the people, but I don't think we needed a whole episode for it.

I didn't like that episode either for the same reason. But the Chibi art was so cute, though. xD

That's the great thing about Avatar, I can find something good to say about my least favorite episode.

None of the episodes are horrible. It's just that some aren't that enjoyable. But, I'd have to say the Great Divide is the one I least like.

Avatar Day for me. The humor aspect of Avatar was abused terribly, to the point where it was almost stupid. The town was really weird. Avatar Kyoshi was cool, along with Zuko and Iroh's part of the story, but the Gaang's part in that episode was the first time I ever and have ever felt ripped off and disappointed about an avatar episode.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllll................I'd have to say my least favorite is the Northern Air Temple. I thought it was kind of a random filler.

The worst episodes were the Great Divide and The Fortuneteller.

I can't really think of any of the episodes being the absolute worse. In quality perhaps, but each plays its own part to play in the plot. Although I have to say I wouldn't be one to sit down and watch 'The Great divide' all over again it plays a crucial role in the role that Aang has in the world: being the Avatar-the worlds last hope for peace.
I won't forget what the old Earthbender told Aang: It's lonely, isn't it? Being impartial...
But the rest tid-bits aren't the best I've seen out of Avatar :/

The Great Divide probably. I didn't really find it funny and it didn't add much to the plot. Close behind it is The Fourtuneteller. I really didn't see any point other than some Kataang shipping. I mean in Warriors of Kyoshi they were talking about not staying in one place for too long, but then they go to this random town for a while and visit a fourtuneteller. Of course it may be because they used to rerun it all the freaking time and I got sick of it.
