What I noticed in this episode was there only seemed to be one space left for an Avatar statue right next to Roku. Did anyone else notice this too?
Since Aang "died" while in the Avatar State did he break the cycle? Is he also the Last Avatar?
Forgive me if this has been discussed before but I'm new to Avatar fandom and this site in particular (hello everybody!)

I have heard quite a bit of speculation on the theory that the Avatar Cycle is broken, and that Aang can no longer bend the other elements. In "The Awakening" it does seem possible that Yue was actually the only one bending the water when he was surfing on the log. I don't know.

From "The Awakening" (just watched it again! x12 times now!) I got the impression he was bending the water and that Yue just added some extra umph to help speed him on his way. IMO I dont think he is de-powered just maybe the Last Avatar, the cycle ends with him. Just a thought.

It may have been too soon for him to contact Roku, but yeah, in that Episode , didn't Aang mention he would meet Roku in that room? Anyway, I keep seeing that people think the Avatar cycle is broken, it isn't broken, Aang was gone( but never officially dead per se) and was brought back. So it isn't broken. And here's the other side of that debate...
If Aang wasn't able to enter the Avatar state, as Nick says, it was interrupted, if he had died (was gone, whatever) then the cycle could not have ended. Because he wasn't killed , in the Avatar state, per se. I think he was in the Avatar state because he was glowing , I don't get Nick at all on this one.

Yes probably helpful He wouldn't have gone Giant Koi riding xD for that matter I'd like to point that most of us have only seen the firs two episodes xD So you can't really judge that Aang hasn't Glowed and never will I'd also like to say when Katara had Aang oon Appa's back she lifted him up spun the water and put it in... Shortly after his arrow glowed for a second and his eye flickered.
