Watching Sokka and Katara get angry at Aang because he was slightly insecure, Yue dying, and Zuko's past.

I think "Zuko Alone" was the saddest episode. Not only did we learn about Zuko's mother and how she disappeared, but we got to see Zuko get shunned by a village that he freed from bad Earth Kingdom soldiers.

The scenes between Zuko and his mother in "Zuko Alone." "Remember Zuko, no matter what things may seem like...I did it for you."

Personally, Yue dying didn't afffect me as much, I mean, she was too perfect in a way that just made me want to scream!! Zuko Alone was angsty, not really sad, Aang losing Appa was also sad, but imho, Lake Laogai, when Jet (supposedly) died, that killed me. IDK, maybe its because I'm a die-hard Jet fangirl... lol

I think Lake Laogai was pretty sad. But I'm still tired so I'm not really thinking about every episode.

has to be Zuko Alone, or Iroh's part of 'tales of ba sing se'. That really almost got me crying at the end...

I think it's SoftN, but not because of Yue. Didn't anyone notice how helpless Aang seems to be after the avatar state or is that just me. Anyways the whole epi almost mademe cry.
oh, and second is definitely Iroh's tale.... that song just kills me!!

man, iroh's tale was terribly sad....especially how they built it up to be a happy occasion (buying a basket for a "special picnic", playing w/ the kids, etc). and the song he sang to cheer up the crying kid was actually a sad song.....geez.
appa's lost days also made my heart tug....it made me feel for appa how much he missed aang. and when it showed the baby appa, it put it even more in context. poor little guy. or big guy, whatever. however, it made the return of appa ever so cheerful....

Appa's Lost Days was definitely the saddest. I was so happy when appa got to Ba Sing Se but then that big crappy person had to go and capture it and chuck it in an underwater base. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

yeah that really stinks. I was sad that the EK village didnt show any gratitude to Zuko after he defeats the stuckup EK soldiers

Zuko Alone almost made me cry. The tale of Iroh almost did the same thing.
