G'mornin/afternoon/evening/night/timezones are werid, aren't they?
Lately I've been seeing a lot of stuff revolving around the Trading Card Game characters on the Theories board. I've finally found proof of something I've been trying to say all along, so I thought I should probably share it.
The TCG characters ARE NOT canon.
What I mean by this is: they were specifically created for the game without input from the show creators. They are not show characters. They were never show characters. They exist in a totally different sphere. They will not have any effect on the future of show. Therefore, they do not belong in the Theories board.
RM: There are a lot of things that are related to Avatar on the internet and such that are official from Nick. You have the comics, the Nick.com material, the trading card game. What is canon? Sometimes these things will talk major things. New characters in the game cards. The comics mention Kyoshi died at 230 year old. How much is canon?
MDD: The trading cards cards- no. That was characters they created themselves for the game. We didn't have any input on that.
BK: They needed a lot of content for the trading card game, like hundreds of cards, and there's only so much Mike and I and the people here have to guide that peripheral stuff. And that was during a really busy time.
Unless for some reason this is proven to be untrue all matter that uses trading card characters or ideas as fact will be either deleted or guided back on track. These character's don't pertain to the show, however if there is enough curiousity as to if the cards could hold water as their own story line, I will look into creating at least a stickied thread, and if the support is large enough a subboard. Remeber however that all card theories are NOT to exist in regular theories, and are not to exist in this board unless an admin or Fire Master Azula gives the ok.
Thanks for being understanding
