well, when avatars over, what are we gonna do?! i'd like a 4th season. i think it would be about bringing back airbenders. cuz, if there were no airbenders, then how could the avatar cycle continue when it comes back to air? i dont think the shows quality would decrease with a 4th season, cuz Mike and Bryan are really creative. neway, didnt they say that defeating ozai would be the end of Aangs first adventure? does that mean he will have more? i guess only time will tell.....

I'm not sure, but I know it kills the "Aang dies" theory

Yeah. I noticed that a new season starts in the late Winter to early Spring. Then there's a break in the summer. After, the season ends in the late Fall to the early Winter.

Season 4? Seriously? That is AWESOME!!!!!!!! There is still some form of kindness in this world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
S4 would probably just be about the reconstruction of the world and the return of the Airbenders. But still, a season 4. Awesome.

A season 4 would be beyond wonderful. I agree with you avaspaz.....if there were no airbenders left than the avatar cycle would be broken. I hope that there will be a season 4 and that they will discover some airbenders and rebuild the air temples. Aang deserves that at least for everything he's doing to protect the world. But...I think that in season 3 he should defeat Ozai and then there will be an even greater threat that Aang will have to face in season 4 (and 5, 6,7,....) hehehe

Well, I think it'll be just too easy if, after defeating Ozai, the GAang just stumbles across some air benders. What if, say, they had to travel to the spirit world to get the air benders back or something? A whole season in the spirit world, and fighting spirits...

I would love a Season 4! I have to admit, I've become so involved with the characters and their world (it's so detailed and rich), that I would love to see what happens to them post-Ozai defeat. After his defeat there's still a lot of work to do, and I want to know what happens to them as they rebuild their world, instead of just *bam!* Ozai's out of the way and that's it.
There are a lot of stories yet to be told in the Avatar world. How is the rebuilding effort going in the Southern Water Tribe? What about re-establishing Bumi in Omashu, and as for Ba Sing Se - now that the king knows of the outside world, will the internal walls that separate the poor from the rest of the city finally come down? Will the peace that's established be an easy peace or one that takes a lot of time and energy to maintain? Aang may defeat Ozai, but I'd imagine there are plenty of Fire Nation rebels who will try to make life miserable because they liked the idea of world domination.
Heck, I wouldn't even mind a bit of an epilogue with the kids as adults, and how they're making an impact on their world.
And I'd like to see Zuko finally join the GAang, just because I think he has much more in common with the kids than he knows. He and Aang have many similarities, and I feel they could be friends - both know what it means to bear an incredible burden at an early age, and be weighed down with responsibilities others might not understand.

I agree. Honestly, if the situation was different, Aang and Zuko could have been best friends. Aang, Sokka, and Zuko would just have this guys night out--they'd drink, talk about sports, girls, have belching contests, get a kick out of lighting things on fire etc, whatever boys do when they get together.
