I'm pretty sure Ozai had them locked up. I would like to see them run into Shyu again, maybe bust him outta jail. He did help them, and I see to think that he will be the more severely punished on.

Methinks you misquoted me, Nexus. ;D It's cool though--you do have a point that an ocean battle could be anti-climatic. Perhaps Sokka will learn more about that secret river that leads to the palace--I found it strange they didn't make use of that when it was mentioned in 'The Headband'. What do we know about Pian Dao and Iroh? Well, for starters, they're both experts at what they do, they care about maintaining balance between the four nations, and they know a hell of a lot more than most of the main cast about anything--I'm pretty sure they've been set up to do something big, but from the sidelines--which is how most secret societies operate. I think we can assume that the WLS is all for restoring balance to the four nations--so they're going to aide the Gaang in some form or fashion. yeah sorry. I'm just very set in my roots that the battle is taking place at FN capital. I should entitle you to your point of view, rather than shooting them all down And good point about the secret river they mentioned in "The Headband". I believe that Sokka discover the secret river. Aang will use the secret river to get straight to Ozai. That's gotten me thinking... Oh, I have no doubts that Piandao and Iroh will help the Gaang defeat the FL. Piandao already has, by helping Sokka. He obviously knew that helping a friend of the Avatar would only help the FL's downfall. Iroh has managed to help the Gaang on several occassions. Aang and Katara would probably have been captured by the Dai Li ,in the Crystal Catacombs, if not for him. I'm just very dubious that they can really do much more. Thanks to a FAKE spoiler of the WAT, people in general seem to have the idea that the WLS is not a small organisation, but a huge army that will defeat the FN. Somehow, i doubt this.

Army? Nooo, I never even saw a fake spoiler.
I think they're all set up as an actual secret society of enlightened members--they gather information, make sure to put the right people in the right places and when the time is right, enact the plan--much like the Pai Sho game. XD
I don't think they do direct attacks until everything and everyone is in the right position. I think it'd be fitting--they're all really a bunch of suppliers and strategists, yet we know at least two of the members are also expert warriors. They strike quickly and fade just as fast so that they can't be traced by anyone who doesn't know what signs to look for. To clarify further, when I say 'attack'--I mean in a more figurative way--not because they can't do more, but rather because it's smarter to have the people who were meant for these battles to fight them.
I don't think it's too far off to say the organization is larger than you think--who knew they'd have allies in such remote places as the Earth Kingdom desert?
I'm still of the opinion that the Gaang is in need of a few more reinforcements--just a few more, perhaps. I don't think you need a large army if you're making use of a 'secret tunnel river' and are going to do a sneak attack.
Setting my bias aside, I really do feel we need at least Song back so that Katara can be taken off healing duty to focus on bloodbending. I do believe Smellerbee and Longshot have a stake in this, for Jet's sake at least. I see most of the adult teachers returning to help the group get in a little further past each defense system (Pian Dao, Pakku, Bumi, Iroh--perhaps even Hamma... I mean, what's to keep her from bloodbending her way out of prison again...assuming she does't just take out the entire prison as her final act? I guess she'd be a kind of wild card or dark horse, if you will...).
I hope Yue shows up to help Katara with her moon powers--most definitely if to save Sokka's life. Extra points if she shows up to save Suki's life.
In short:
wiehjfkiasdjfksdkfsldkfl HOMG SO MUCH TO BE DONE. D:

^^I've been very curious of this myself. Ozai really doesn't look that old, and Iroh, well he's either older than we think or he's not aged very gracfully. The age difference would seem to be pretty big, but I would love a bit of clarification on that as well.

^ If he got married when he was 16 and had Zuko then he wud be at very least 32.... Ozai (I think) is at a very mazimum 40..... My guess is he's mid 30s......And Iroh I think is probably around 20 years older....
