I can't watch Korra live or record it. I assumed it'd be online the next day, but even this morning (Monday), it wasn't on nick.com or any other official website. I went to google and found it on some rando anime website, but would like a higher quality, official one. Did anyone watch on a legitimate site? (I don't think we are allowed to talk about not-so-legal sites on the forum, so none of those please! )

My best advice as a person who does not currently have cable due to monetary reasons is to return to Google. There are HD versions available. Also try tumblr. They are pretty crafty and producing links for streaming.
I had personal success via Googling "Legend of Korra season 3 stream" and it was HD.

The first three episodes are available for purchase on Amazon right now. Hopefully they are starting to get the idea that not everyone can watch the episodes on TV and will put them on other outlets including Nick.com for free. It seems that they are only hurting themselves by not giving viewers options. I know that I personally haven't watched a single episode when it aired. I just record them.

I had no idea the new Korra episodes had started until I heard someone mention it in passing the other day. This is what happens when I'm away from here for months on end -_-o. I thought I could catch up on nick.com, but...apparently not. I find it frustrating that Nick has stopped offering the current episodes online. Maybe they weren't getting enough people to actually tune in when the episodes aired?
As for where to watch, I know there are streaming sites that have been uploading the current episodes. I don't know about the legality of them, though, so you may not want to go that route. Other than that, hulu and amazon might be your best bet.

I'm not proud of it. But since we Europeans have to wait for it to air in our respective countries (only to discover a poor dub by the way) I have no other choice but to pirate the episodes. Most of the times you can find the episodes the day after they aired. And it's quite easy once you know the right websites. I don't think however that DH wants me to advertize this.

Yeah, let's just leave the links to Google. ^^;
But I can't believe that none of the episodes are on the official website yet. It doesn't look like they're on iTunes either, which is odd. In fact, the commercial last week for tomorrow's new episodes basically said that the only place to watch them was right there on tv.
....Is this Nickelodeon's retribution for the episodes that got leaked? How is that a winning strategy, cutting off alternate ways of viewing the show? Or maybe it's their way of preventing additional leaks, like the early iTune releases for ATLA. ............ Do other shows have these kinds of problems? I have never encountered a series with this many leak problems.

Google took me to several anime websites that have all of the episodes.
Nickelodeon is dumb.

So it looks like we are getting a solely digital release now. Apparently Nick wasn't happy with the number of viewers, but they have ordered a fourth season, so it looks like they are just trying to tailor it to the audience more. I just think that Korra isn't exactly the typical Nick show and therefore doesn't have the typical audience.

What a surprise! Korra always did seem a little out of place on the network (are there any other current shows that even come close to Korra's level of maturity or drama? I haven't watched anything on Nick that wasn't Avatar-related since.... Danny Phantom?), but to completely take it off the air mid-season is..... wow.
I mean it's great that they're finally putting the episodes online, and for it to premiere online first as a main/approved way to watch it is awesome, but I'm kind of sad over the loss of the tv-viewing option as well. I got my parents hooked on the show, and the computer screen just doesn't compare to seeing Korra in big HD, especially at their age. Suppose I'll have to find a way to hook it up like a big monitor for them.
But I wonder if Nickelodeon will continue to run tv ads for the show, or if they'll just stop talking about it and leave the casual viewers in the dark.

I just watched this last episode and there was absolutely no mention of the rest of the episodes airing online now. This really disappoints me because I'm sure there are people who won't realize and maybe they'll do a search for it or maybe they won't. Nick really doesn't want to see this show succeed for some reason. And in my opinion, this is the best season yet.

There's so much that's so interesting and great about this season... a few critiques here or there, but it's the best LOK has done so far, imo. I hate to see it move to digital release only with no sorts of indication except for a few announcements from Bryke on tumblr and probably a new article here or there. Pretty bad taste of Nick to not announce it during the broadcast either.
Am I to assume they're taking all reruns of already aired episodes of both ATLA and LOK off Nickelodeon now?
Pretty sure the last thing anyone wants is yet another five hours of Spongebob and Fairly Oddparents reruns. It's nice to get some fresh material that have life messages (such as the importance of family, responsibility, independence, etc) and all the themes that Avatar/LOK incorporates in a fun show filled with good humor and great action, along with beautiful animation and ingenious creativity.

The Legend of Korra will be a web exclusive program now because the morons at Nickelodeon do not seem to understand how to market their products or handle the balance between television and the Internet unlike nearly all other networks one including Cartoon Network.
There will be no more Korra on TV as last week was the last televised episode before this week's episode which will exclusively be on nick.com/korra.

Now that it's been knocked down to web-only, I'm going to be viewing it on the Nick website: www.nick.com/videos/clip/legend-of-korra-208-full-episode.html(I'm assuming I can just change the number to 207, 209, 206 and it'll work accordingly.) The Legend of Korra will be a web exclusive program now because the morons at Nickelodeon do not seem to understand how to market their products or handle the balance between television and the Internet unlike nearly all other networks one including Cartoon Network. This is a ridiculous thing to say but it's understandable when the show's creators, Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino, are spinning Nick's decision to can the franchise as being driven by its web popularity. Nope. Here's the real reason: "The Legend Of Korra has seen a tremendous fall-off in viewers since it’s first season. Book One: Air typically saw 4 million viewers per episode. Book Two: Spirits saw that number fall off to between 2 and 2 and a half million viewers per episode. The current season is barely hitting one million viewers per show."(Source: blog.bcdb.com/nick-pull-korra-airwaves-web-7820/)Season 1 was so terrible that it killed the series by discouraging millions of viewers (The Last Airbender began with 1.1 million viewers, grew to 4 million, and peaked at 5.6 million, so for Legend of Korra to go from 4 million to 1 million over three seasons is a huge regression, back to square one! They don't even do Legend of Korra re-runs.) A few people on this board complained about how awful the season was and were told we being too critical, that it wasn't that bad, and so on. Turns out a few million people agree with us and now Nick is killing the show just when it finally started getting good.

The marketing for Korra has always been awful, and they just haven't done marathons and reruns like they did for ATLA back in the day on the main channel. Although they do play a lot of ruruns on the NickToons network, but that's not quite the same. Although I have a lot of critiques for the Korra seasons as well, I do have to wonder how much of that audience drop is show content vs marketing/viewing availability and whether the latter includes DVR/Tivo/On Demand numbers because last I heard those numbers weren't usually included? It's been a while since I last read about the Nielsen ratings system, it makes me angry, haha.
However, thankfully regardless of this insane turn of events, the show is not being killed. Nick already paid for it, the fourth season is currently being animated I think Mike or Bryan said on their Tumblr, so the Korra story will see it's conclusion unlike Invader Zim and too many other shows.

When I said "killed," I didn't mean cancellation. An error on my part. Rather, Nick is dooming the franchise to its current, small-ish audience of roughly 1 million views or less. Sadly, this means LoK will truly be the last Avatar we get to see on television.
