Its not the fact he went into the avatar state thats stupid, that was the smart thing to do, what was stupid was that he decided to float for an hour, he might as well have just told Azula to shoot him

Even though I did find Aang was stupid because he was an open target, but I think the Earth King did the stupidest thing. Telling Azula about the invasion could ruin the GAang's chances of defeating the Fire Lord on the day of black sun. She can easily inform the fire lord and they can probably set up an army or two that could slow them down from getting to the center of the fire nation.

I thought that the Earth King telling Azula about the invasion of the Fire Nation. You don't just tell a very important stragetic classified warfare tactic to a person you don't know that well! Not the smartest move...

I voted for the earth king, not only for that because I couldn't blame him that, he thought they were the kyoshi warriors. I voted it to because he isn't a very bright person. For instance: Not knowing what is going on in his kingdom (while he was still ruling). Also for being a lazy *ss. For being the stupidest person on the show alone was enough reason for me to vote for that one.

funny that from an audience standpoint...we knew is was Azula, but not in the avatar world...make me wonder if Suki was in that place, would it seem stupid cause after all, you trusting on earthmember to another.
Majorty of the question on that poll have an after effect that deal with Azula and Co.

I think that the Earth King telling Azula and Co. was the dumbest thing that he could ever done (that could have ever been done in the 2season). Plus, he could of at least acted with a little more logic and asked them some questions or something. Let alone that they were the avatar's allies. I think that the Earth King should of taken alittle more caution. HELLO!?! There's a war going on!!.........~sigh~...That's my opinion.

All I can say about the earth king is that it easier to say that...after the fact.

My vote: Aang. He really could not have chosen a more inconvenient place and time... *sweatdrop* I mean, seriously... They're all pretty dumb, though.

Yeah, but put yourself in Aang's shoes (In his perspective). What would you have done? Aang must of thought,"What can I do?" Everything was out of his hand. There were a whole load of people against him and ready to attack him at any moment. All he could think of was the Avatar State and what the Guru had told him. He couldn't do anything else. Well, maybe, surrender to Azula and Co......and later escaped, but I think that Aang didn't think enough he just did what his instincts told him.

Ummm... How about Zuko deciding to follow Azula instead of Iroh? Why isn't that an option?

Yeah, the earth king ruined the treasured element of surprise...

Going into the Avatar State wasn't stupid, it was that he floated there for so long. He was in total control and everything, but he decided "Let me just float here for a bit longer."
The Earth King telling random people he met ten minutes before about their plan...stupid. Sure, they were the Avatar's allies, but still, stupid.

Ha- fair point there. It just seemed untimely to me, I guess... He should have done it earlier, in my opinion- or not done it at all. He coulda run away... I guess...

Like I said before...All of these effects of dumb action were as result cause by Azula, Mai, & Ty Lee. Imagine how the story might be if there weren't in BSS

Me and my friend were yelling at Katara for squealing about Zuko. I even threw something at the TV at her! ((I missed, on purpose ))
