The dumbest act of all has to be the Earth Kings actions. Simply because I feel that his will have the greatest repercussions. Katara opening her mouth merely meant that she got caught sooner rather than later. However, the Earth King has basically alerted the Fire Nation to the attack that the Gaang were planning and so when the final battle does come, it won't be a surprise to the FN and they will have prepared for it which isn't good for Aang and co. Whether or not the Earth King knew if the Kyoshi warriors were real or not is irrelevant. The point of the matter is that he did not know them and so he should never have told them the plan. Just because a person is fighting for the good side, does not mean that they should have been given such crucial info. Not only do you risk the chance of leaking important, secret info., but you also put the people who you tell the secret to in danger. And so the Earth King was wrong.
Aang didn't know he was going to get zapped and how could he have known? Aang didn't have the time to pull a "batman" and run away for a second to transform so that he could come back seconds later more powerful than before. I believe that he was tired, confused, and feeling a little overwhelmed and so he underestimated his own strength at that moment. There is no way that he shouldn't have been able to at least beat Azula or Zuko. And I believe that was due to lack of self-confidence. Besides, him getting hurt in the Avatar State can make Aang more aware of himself and his power and he will only learn from it. Being hurt is a setback, but losing the major element of suprise is huge when it comes to the Earth King's blunder.

I thought it was dumb, when the stupid Earth general in the SOTFN told his soilders to throw more boulders, when Aang made it clear for him to stop. --" That guy was a bit wacked, and had corny jokes.

What the Earth King did just confirms why he was nothing more than a figurehead. I mean, Kyoshi warriors or not, if they weren't going to be fighting in the war or strategizing, they didn't need to know about the invasion.

Definatley Earth King because yes, indeed he is just a figure head. Just because the "Kyoshi Warriors" were being like his servants didn't mean he had to tell them about the invasion. I'm mean just because "They cleaned up piles of his Bear's poop" (quote from Mai) doesn't mean they need to kno everything.
Katara didn't really have a mistake because she thought it was Suki. Even with the number "3" it doesn't declare that Suki and 2 other warriors came while the others still helped with the ferry job.
Aang will learn from his mistake because he got shot with lightning. It also wasn't his fault because he was in the little "rock/crystal" house. He didn't see Azula move because he was in the rocks!
Splitting up wasn't really such a bad thing because I don't think they could have done much in that fight. Toph could have. maybe.

I think one of the stupidest things was the fact that Katara would've used her spirit water on Zuko's scar if Aang and Iroh hadn't gotten there. Does she really carry it with her everywhere? If so, why wouldn't she try to use it on Jet? Or at least save it for when someone was badly injured, not just use it on a scar? Katara lost a lot of points with me. Well she was only doing what she felt was right, maybe she did mess up with Jet but she didnt do it on purpose. Plus she was right in the middle of Dai Li central, not a lot of time to think about actions like that. Finally, someone else who thinks that. The bashers always overlook that element.

For me it would be Katara panicing because she saw Zuko in the tea shop. And she ran to Azula and tattled on Zuko and Iroh. That tattle-tale!

I decided on the Earth King because of reasons stated many times before me.
It was between that and Zuko's mega-dramatic "face off' with Azula after Iroh jumped out the window to run. Spaz.

First of all, Katara didn't know it was Azula (I believe that she hadn't had a chance to see the Kyoshi Warriors Impersonators since she has been with the Five Generals most of the day) and if you saw an enemy in your city, you do not just sit around and wait until he strikes. Albeit, it ended badly, but Katara's reaction was natural.

I don't blame Katara.
I mean, they really did look like real Kyoshi girls. I didn't even know that they were Azula Mai and Ty Lee until Azula spoke. Same with Katara.

Okay...let's have a look at these...
Katara telling Azula about Zuko and Iroh – well...she thought she was doing the right thing, and Azula probably would have found out about them being there sooner or later...the Dai Li knew they'd been accused of being Firebenders...and their story wouldn't have moved forward if they hadn't been found out...
Earth King telling Azula about their plans to invade the Fire Nation – okay, not smart, but plans can be changed and so far only Azula knows about it...she hasn't got word to dear old dad yet (probably something she plans to use Zuko for...send him home to face daddy's wrath)...so...salvageable...
Toph and Sokka splitting up into two groups – moot point...the gang are back together...
Aang rushing into the Avatar State in a bad place – he had little choice, and it did turn out pretty bad for him, and as yet we don't know the full repercussions...hard to tell with this one...
Something else – all I can think of, and I think all that's been mentioned, is Zuko betraying Iroh and siding with his sister. Not good...but Zuko already doubts his decision, and for him to not find a way out wouldn't be too satisfying for the majority of viewers, so ultimately, a salvageable situation...though just how much he'll have to go through to do so will be interesting to see...
