Fair Warning: Potential spoilers abound.
Just got back from the theatre a couple of hours ago. Mind. Blown. I thought the film did an extraordinary job distinguishing itself from its predecessor, but I would very much like to hear other people's opinions on the movie. Did you think TDK set the bar too high? Were your expectations met?

I was thoroughly satisfied with the movie as a whole. You are right to say that they did a good job distinguishing between the two films, because they most certainly did. It was both well written and there was a great mixture of action and emotion! Superb!

Finally got to see it today. Pretty darn awesome...but... couldn't they have at least used one of the Robins name for the potential carrier on of the bat flame? They've got like a dozen to choose from!

I still the TDK was a better movie, just from how the story was told and everything was laid out. TDKR had SO MUCH going on all at once; it got a little jumbled. Regardless of that, the movie was freakin' epic and I was extremely impressed. Tom's performance as Bane was fantastic as expected, and I certainly hope all those haters that didn't think Anne could play Catwoman were silenced.
Sir Michael Caine is the best, man. The best. I cried like. Every time he spoke.
