So...Korra's being dumped out in the wilderness. What are the chances she'll meet a certain wandering former Fire Lord out there?

The next episode will probably be something like Korra getting left for dead in the Si Wong desert where she wanders aimlessly until she finally has a spiritual visitor (Aang) to explain to her what happened with Yakone and provide some guidance which will cumulate in her entering the Avatar State.

Wow! What an extreme episode. It will be interesting to see where Korra, or any of the other characters for that matter, end up. It will also be interesting to see the world outside of Republic City. For all this time, Republic City has been the main setting of the show, so it will be nice to see other areas as well.
Tarrlok's bloodbending was creepy. I am interested to learn how he managed to pull off that skill without the help of the full moon. I am also interested to learn some of the other secrets that Tarrlok may be hiding. It may be true that Tarrlok is with the equalists, however, I believe that he just wants Korra out of the way so he can steal all the credit of defeating Amon.

I'm wondering where Tarrlock is going to toss Korra and did some research.
There are 4 locations from A:TLA which are close to where Republic City currently is.
1) The Pohuai stronghold--this is where the Yu Yuan Archers were 2) Makapu Village--Aunt Wu's village 3) An Abbey--this is where Jun faced off against the Gaang and where Zuko and Iroh popped up trying to find Aang...and Iroh pretended to be paralyzed so that he could feel up Jun XD 4) Gaipan--the village that Jet flooded
There's also an unnamed Earth Kingdom trading post nearby.
Is it possible that Tarrlock will abandon Korra in one of these locations? It would be interesting to see what happened to them since the Gaang was there.
Or will Tarrlock send her off on a ship? Or just a hidden location within Republic City, like his former home or something...

I hadn't really given much thought to where Tarrlok might take Korra, but I would like it if he would take her somewhere outside the city. That does make since he did say to say goodbye to Republic City. I would like to see how the rest of the world is now.

The other council members are such push-overs! They've just let Tarlok walk all over them. I thought about the blood bending moments before he did it when Korra exclaimed there was no more water. I love that twist! Tarlok is a much bigger villain than I first thought. and to throw out a wild theory, say Tarlok is/is working with Amon. What if when Amon has been draining people's bending, all of that energy wasn't just disappearing, but being transferred. And Amon was able to power up Tarlok, enough that he doesn't need the full moon to blood bend. Yeah I was thinking all scientific in a the spiritual sense of energy bending that, energy can be created or destroyed and that energy of what allows a person to bend goes somewhere, possible Amon is in control of that?

I think Aang may have been murdered, by either Tarrlock or a relative of Tarrlock. It would be crazy if Tarrlock's father (who I'm sure was a politician) had murdered Aang and then been behind the construction of Aang's memorial monument. (I bet if Aang could see that giant statue of himself he would HATE it! It's so gaudy!) While I do think Yakone/Tarrlok/relative of Tarrlok may have played a role in Aang's death, it can't have been a quick kill because in the "Welcome to Republic City" game, it said somewhere that "when Aang realized his health was failing, he instructed the white lotus to keep Korra safe while she mastered the elements" or something along those lines. Then again, would Bryke really give Aang such a cruel ending seeing as he was the main character of ATLA and a very loved one at that? It's very tricky to say, I suppose, but we shall see. As for the statue, it's hard to say who built it, but yeah, I don't think Aang would've liked it all that much. He's too modest.

Did everyone forget that car that the team used to patrol was a gift to Korra from Tarlock in an earlier episode when he was trying to win her favor? I guess they just kept it around on Air Temple Island. The bloodbending completely took me by surprise as well. I hope it will be answered how he's doing that without the full moon, but in the flashback with old!Team Avatar and Yakone, it looked like the gaang was being stopped by bloodbending as well. I want to join the theory that maybe Tarrlok is related to Yakone, but I can't imagine that would be true without it constantly being thrown back at Tarrlok. Perhaps they're secretly from the same circle, or Tarrlok sought him out later on as a mentor or something, if Yakone was indeed the one bloodbending. Also didn't see that bloodbending coming. I guess I'm mostly interested in those flashbacks as that's what I post about most. I think that Yakone is related to Tarlock and in our recent flashback, it looked like that man in court was bloodbending the lot of them. Guess every form of specialized bending that we saw in TLA is now covered. Now we get to see new stuff? I'm beginning to think that the council members are just being bloodbended by Tarlock. They always go with whatever he says... Anyway, that fight at the end was suspenseful and awesome! Tarlock will have to take Korra somewhere near the city if he wants to keep her in that car. Soon as he opens the door, she's going to attack unless he can sedate her somehow. That and that car isn't going off road.

Well from the looks of the new promo, he takes Korra to some kind of jail or holding place (made of metal).

Nice promo. If Korra goes into the Avatar state though Amon could use that to his advantage. What better way to "destroy Korra" and bring equality to the world than by killing off the Avatar once and for all? Avatar state makes Korra stronger but if Amon takes Korra's bending away at that time he would have no trouble killing her even if she's in the avatar state.

I guess they just kept it around on Air Temple Island. I did. Was just about to post that although due to real life constraints I was only able to watch the episode last night. When I first saw the car in episode 4, I thought "wouldn't it be sick to watch that thing tear up the city?". I had an ear to ear grin when I saw Asami pull it out of the garage. I definitely did not call the bloodbending. I am now officially curious as to what connection Tarrlok has with Amon when Korra called him out as being like Amon. Nevermind how he could bloodbend without a full moon!? I love how they've finally gone "noir" on this series. That episode had an even darker and gritty style to the story-telling not seen in other episodes previously. Though it keeps the high action and comicbook physics to give us something out of Frank Miller's "Sin City", I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Also waiting a week for every episode since the first has always been too long for me. I just about had a heart attack when I heard that the show was going into a "mid-season break" even though it did just last one week. mfw

They always go with whatever he says... I never even thought of that! But then, why wouldn't he bloodbend Tenzin as well? He obviously has some kind of control over the others that he doesn't have over Tenzin though. Yay for a preview! I'm so excited to see her connect with Aang at last. Maybe the only way out of the cell will be airbending or something.
