Did anyone find it awesome how Korra was able to put aside her personal feelings for Mako to tell him to be there for Asami after the whole ordeal with her father?
I imminently thought of Aang and Guru Pathik and how Aang couldn't let go of Katara after Pathik told him to do so.
This, of course, could also have to do with maturity as Korra is 17 while Aang was 12.

I would say maturity is at least part of the difference. In my opinion though, the biggest difference is the level of the feelings. By the time that Guru Pathik told Aang to let go of Katara, he had spent over a year with her, often in very serious life changing situations. Not that time is everything, but it does make a difference. And I don't think Korra is completely over it, she is just being mature about it to his face.

I agree with what ILZ said, I still think that it bothers Korra TONS, but she's just being mature about it towards Mako. Then on the other side of the spectrum we have Aang and Katara who had been through a butt load of crazy stuff together that tied them together and changed their lives completely. I never thought I would say it, but I actually felt really bad for Asami, so I'm glad that Korra did that for her.

Thirded. herp.
I think if Mako said, "Hey, Korra, want to sneak around back for a quick kissing session," Korra would jump on that like white on rice, but she's trying to save face after already being somewhat humiliated in an earlier episode when he made it clear who he picked. She was obviously very embarrassed in the episode when Ikki casually announced Korra had a crush on Mako; plus the way Ikki told Asami was in the present tense - not the past.
And I think Korra also has other things on her mind as well, especially with the entire situation with Amon.
However, I don't think the issue's been dropped/resolved yet because episodes still include little indicators of tension between the three.
