"And the most difficult part... was watching my daughter traipse around with a Firebender street rat like you!"
Little did I know... That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles, and my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet!" And I was crying on a staircase, begging you, "Please, don't go!" And I said: Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone! I'll be waiting. All that's left to do is run. You'll be the prince, and I'll be the princess. It's a love story. Baby, just say, Yes. ~"Love Story," Taylor Swift
As Haymitch Abernathy tries to hammer into his Korra-like heroine's head, no one gets audience sympathy faster than star-crossed lovers. Will this pairing get more interest now that they're officially lovers from opposite sides/enemy races in the current war?
All I can say is, Asami's decision in Episode 7 was just like Mai's in "The Boiling Rock," and their current situation is consistent with what Zutarians were always looking for in the original series... but I knew that from the moment they bonded over talking about their dead parents.
LoK's Aladdin and Jasmine have my whole-hearted support.
