I think that sounds about right. Who was the first to believe that the four elements made up our world though?

Yup, looks good so far to me too. Song and her mom from the Cave of Two Lovers ep were wearing hanboks, so that definitely includes a Korean influence. I'm not sure who was first to believe in the classical elements, though. Wikipedia lists Babylonia, Greece, India, and Egypt, with some variations usually including the fifth element, Aether. *shrugs*

I was reading the Avatar wikia and apparently the name "Amon" has routes in Egyptian mythology as well as being the name of a Nazi, Amon Goeth. This still isn't enough to warrant Egyptian or German culture to the list, is it?

Hm, hard to say. Amon is also the name of a dangerous pressure point on the back of the neck, and in The Revelation he does put his hand (somewhere) on the back of the neck/head when he's doing his demonstration. Because words can have so many ties to different languages, unless something is said by the crew, it's difficult to say which meanings are intended and which are coincidence. There could be a sub-section on the list for possible influences, until further determined? --wait. I remember in the art book that the Fire Lord's Throne design was supposed to be a combination of Egyptian, Chinese, and Scary. That would help Egypt's case, wouldn't it?

The many meanings of "Amon" could also indicated that there was some thought put behind the name.
Do geographical locations count too? Because the Fire Nation, according to Bryan, was based on Iceland.
I also knew about the pressure point in the neck from something that was posted on The Last Airbender sub-reddit.
Scary?

Yeah. For such an important character, I would hope that the names weren't picked carelessly. Although they probably have to make sure there aren't any trademark issues as well, or is that only for title characters? I don't see why not, an influence is an influence. Heh, same here, though on Tumblr. ^^ It'll be interesting to see if the accompanying theory pans out. Yeah, those were the three keywords given to.... someone when they were assigned to design the throne room. I shouldn't have capitalized 'scary' though, ha.

There's been slight ancient mezo american influences as well. Specifically the fire benders that protected the dragons from The Last Air Bender.
