What I've Done in the Past 3 Years

If anyone remembers, I used to draw way back in the day and I even posted a few sketches and what not here on DH. I think the threads I made are buried in this board somewhere. Looking back on what I posted years ago, I think we can all agree I was pretty sucky. xD But it's been 3 years since then and I've gotten better!!

I put together these comparisons late last year, but the progress still speaks for itself. Here are a few of my OCs, compared between 2008 and 2010, since I'm too lazy to add pics from this year.

Here's good ol' Natsuko. She's the oldest out of this bunch of charas and she's probably improved the most.

Here's Sayuri. She's everyone's favorite. Must be the glasses.

Finally, here's Susumu. He's also a big favorite. Personally, he's one of my faves, too. ;D

(but I would not say that the 2008 ones are worse than the 2010 ones. The 2010 ones are just more refined, don't look as much as sketches...)

I agree with Gran, I think the old sketches are nice too! I do like how the newer ones are more fluid, though. The group picture at the end is really good as well, and I like how you did the shading.
