Mm, and what makes them so concerning? (Is it the ship that shan't be named?)

Here... And it isn't The Ship I Cannot Name... I'm not taking the tiny leaked panel of its 'development' seriously at all. Byrke may have admitted it wasn't popular, but they like it and that's all that seems to matter to them. It's the threat to Sukka!
Sukka was the only ship...IMHO...that they got right!
I might be overreacting and jumping to conclusions...but the fact that we haven't seen ANY of it so far, and both members are hanging with different people of the opposite gender...one even saying that they're personally concerned for that person of opposite gender...it just has me concerned.
I don't want them to break up! They were ARE too awesome together!

It may or may not be the end for Mai & Zuko, but based on that leaked panel of Mai saying goodbye, there's a 55% chance it could be the end? Though, I'm not believing any of the "spoilers" until I see for myself as well. Tis' the internet after all.
We know that Suki is genuinely a good person at heart. Zuko is her friend (may not seem like they are, since they hardly had any interaction with each other, neither did we see them befriend each other during the time Zuko was with the group) but they did help Aang save the world, and Zuko helped Sokka free her from the Boiling Rock, so... maybe she's just acting upon her noble instincts?
But, there would be no reason for her to leave Sokka under any circumstances, and I doubt that she's the type of girl to betray Sokka. I can't even imagine Suki doing such a terrible thing. (Not saying she will though)
So, there's nothing to worry about. ^-^ We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I was so happy to hear that they were going to release a comic that started where the show stopped. I'm just hoping that we get answers to all the questions that never really had a proper ending. And now with Korra out it will be interesting to see what it took to build Republic City. I also want to see who ended up together and all that jazz.
Super excited!

Part 2 is out! -link removed- I loved it. Who would've thought Aang's fanclub would be so useful? I did feel bad for Katara the whole time though, Aang is so oblivious sometimes. The earth v. fire war thing should be very interesting when part 3 comes out. I was very surprised when Kuei announced that he wanted to "be a man" and attack O.o. Did not see that one coming. Toph's little group of students is hilarious though, especially Penga with her crush on Sokka lol. I hope this isn't all we'll ever see of them, but I'm not sure how they'll fit into the rest of the plot, either. -- I'm sorry, but please don't link to sites viewing the entire comic. Members can post 2-3 page previews, but not more than that. Thank you. ~Musogato.

Just a heads up, guys.
Dark Horse is releasing an Avatar comic for Free Comic Day...May 4th...this year. It "...follows Mai as she deals with her broken heart..." The cover shows her looking pretty badarse with her blades in one hand and flowers in the other.
So it looks like The Ship I Canno Name is going to get off-screen development...again...

Ah. Although it may not be to everyone's taste, I think it's great that Mai will be getting some attention. I wonder if Ty Lee will appear too, or if it will be a solo Mai adventure. It is a bit ridiculous that That Ship keeps having development in the supplement comics rather than in the direct ones/cartoon though. I can almost understand with the cartoon because they wanted to move three (?) months ahead between season 2 and 3 and so maybe they didn't have enough time/know how to fit it all in, but it becoming a pattern is rather.... I can't tell if they don't think it's worth Main Time development, or that they'd rather just save it for these sub-plot appendices so they have a mix between plot-importance and silly adventures.

^Yeah, in the bigger picture, it really is a bigger mystery than Zuko's mom. Is she or isnt she General Iroh's grandmother?

I'm far more interested in Lin's paternity to be honest. We only know, because of her past relationship with Tenzin, that it wasn't Sokka...

A hardcover book containing all three parts of The Promise is going to be released on March 5th. It is currently availave on preorder from Amazon for $22.63. I doubt I'll buy it since I already own the three books. It might be good for someone who hasn't purchased them yet though.

Ha! Beat me me to it... (haven't been on here in a while) but this fact prompted me to come here to tell of this. I totally ordered it! ... It should be a really nice Avatar collectable. Does anyone know if they have ever released hard back versions of Avatar comics before? I don't think I've ever heard mention of it before, with Avatar comics anyway.

Oh wow! Maybe I'll look into getting that one since I have yet to get the individual books. And wow, hardcover, that's nice. And yes Earth and Water, last year they released a (paperback) book containing all of the Avatar comics from Nick Magazine to the mini ones that came with the Book: Water individual dvds, and quite a few comics that were brand new and never-before published. It's called The Lost Adventures, has 240 full-color pages, and goes for around $8 on Barnes and Noble.
