I believe I remember Bryke saying one episode takes about 9 months to create.
I wonder if there will be any other spin offs after this series wraps up, though that seems a ways down the road lol.

;________;
I refuse to believe that the Gaang is dead. Toph is clearly just living underground with the badgermoles, biding her time until the world needs her awesomeness again. Zuko is being a crotchety old Firebending dork somewhere. And Mai's not dead, she's just decided to become a ninja in her old age.
/late to the party, I know (and please forgive my ramblings, college has not been kind to my sleep patterns)

If it's true that three episodes have already been recorded, does that mean we might get a Korra trailer, if just a teaser, at some point in the near future? Even a teaser trailer on nickelodeon would fill me with glee!

I think there should be stories of the Next two Avatars, with evolution of the tech.

Looking forward to this, been hoping that there would be a new series after A:tLA ended. Though it doesn't seem like it, I still have hope that they will address the unanswered questions from the ending, like where is Zuko's mother, etc.

I don't think it's been mentioned officially yet, but it seems Sifu Kisu is back for the martial arts consulting! I wonder if any of the bending styles will be altered some for the era difference, or maybe some new styles.
And yeah, I'm hoping Ursa and some of the other show mysteries will be answered too. It'll be tight with only 12 eps, but I think they should be able to squeeze in some.

It's funny though; UGO credits the info to ATLA Online, and they credit the info to Giancarlo's DA. I guess that's close enough, though, official-wise.

Yeah looks pretty official to me. Don't think they could've had anyone else.

Though this news is small and more than anticipated it's confirmation of our high expectations for this series is still more than welcome relief.

Is anyone other than me thinking that Toph or the others could have been killed? I know that they are all masters of their bending, but there is a rebellion going on. Poison in their tea, maybe? I don't know, just throwing that out there.

This is the first i'm hearing that the entire generation is dead. This is a hard concept to wrap my head around and I don't know if I can completely believe that it's true. As previously stated I feel they would have to be murdered to all be dead. I dont find it fair that the gAang and others from the generation would all have died out within 70 years while Bumi lived to be 112 and Avatar Kyoshi was over 200.
EDIT: Okay I just read the think with Andrea Romano. I know obviously she's a credible source, but I feel like because she only did 3 episodes at the time of the recording, how does she know the entire generation has died out ? The question she was asked was whether or not Aang would be in the series and she tells us everyone has died out. I can't find it credible that she would say everyone has passed on in the series. Maybe from her viewpoint everyone has passed on and from what she hears and casts voice actors, but I still feel like some of the original cast might be alive just unseen but spoken of in the background, or maybe easter eggs like something dumb such as a poster saying "Come to Sokkas joke shop for a live autograph signing by the hilarious warrior himself"
Ya know something dumb that tells us they're still alive whether we see them or not.
