oh hello! haha i think i might remember you xD ya i really hope it does. i miss going on here to talk about new episodes and rumors. =) yeah...i really miss those good 'ol days... *sighs* so does anyone think that Bryke will change the art style of this new series (ie: the way the characters look, the landscape) i mean..i know its supposed to be 100 yrs later right...so there would definitely be more technological advances (ATLA was definitely the start of the "Industrial revolution" of the avatar world).and the wrold and culture might look different and more modernized (in which i really hope not). how do u guys think the new series will look? any of you hoping it will stay the same as our beloved ATLA?

I'm not as old as most 'old' members, but I'm December 2007. Which is almost THREE years ago. When did that happen? It was my sophomore year, just after DoBS aired, and now I'm off to college and a new series might be coming out. Most of my forum friends joined around when I did, but then burned out after a year, maybe.*sigh* I really hope the forum gets back! The last couple of times I've been here, there's actually been another member online at the same time as me and that hadn't happened for months... EDIT: Wow, someone actually beat me to post! That hasn't happened for a while either. So to answer your questions, my fingers are crossed that not much changes technologically. I didn't even like when those tanks and everything were used in the invasion, so the less we see of that, the better, IMO. And I doubt the art style will change much.

ya i dont think that the art will change too drastically. although i actually would like to see how technology has advanced after 100 years. but i hope that it still has the touch of atla that we all have grown to love

Well, if the new tips are true, we get a waterbender focus. As with Aang and airbending, I hope they showcase a lot more waterbending in this series, and how the different bending styles have developed over the years.

Hey I was a Nov 2006 forum member. I was faithful until the series ended before taking a two year break. Now I'm back.
If the information is true of the 100 years into the future then it will be nice to see how are the 4 nations are doing after 100 years like how is the fire nation? what are the water tribes doing now? How is the earth kingdom? Is there any airbenders?
questions questions questions

I'm hoping that in this story we get another war story going and not just small personal battles. Like World War II, this story could feature a war built off it's predecessor - something that takes it to a whole new level. Though they kinda got to the whole exterminate a race thing in A:TLA, so I don't know what this new level would actually be. Maybe the Fire Nation won't be the bad guy this time. Earth Kingdom seems to have the numbers.....

Earth Kingdom seems to have the numbers..... hmm..that's a compelling story..but i don't think that the Earth Kingdom would do such things. The Fire Nation were the main threat to humanity because of their destructive power and quest for it, and i don't think that the EK is on a bloody-thirsty mission for exterminating others; but maybe for land. This brings up Chin The Conquerer. He did start taking towns in Kyoshi's rein as Avatar and i kinda find that boring if Bryke would make that idea all over again, but with a waterbender Avatar. I want something we haven't heard of yet and a story that makes me go, WOW! Maybe something having to do with the spirit world. I want to get better into that. Seeing as Aang may be "training" Korra, were definitely gonna get some SW action! and maybe tie some loose ends with ATLA that we didn't get from the show. And Koh is a given! ;D "We'll meet again."...come on, that's just a cliff-hanger waiting to happen on Korra's story. He'll meet the Avatar again, but another life-time.

^^ Thats plausible but its interesting how Roku left out that information about the Avatar's past "dealings" with the Koh when describing him to Aang (although I guess the simplest explanation is that he didnt know either because he was never told). It didnt sound like they had much interaction. It would be nice to find out if Kuruk had found Koh in the Spirit World and settled their unfinished business.

AAAAHHHH!!!!! this is so crazy! woooowwww. It's so much to take in. It makes me sad to think that Aang only lived 70 years more after ATLA ended. That feels kinda short to me. But he has a son! Now the Kataang vs. Zutara debate will REALLY be put to an end haha. Aahh it's so good to know that we haven't seen the last of this world. I'm starting to get those good old goosebumps again! ps: For anyone who doesn't know me it's because I'm also a SUPER old member.. haha omg it all seems so long agoo.... hopefully all this news will make a lot of members come back!!
