[Yeah, it looks like it's going to be a lot of work. That's one you're definitely going to have to get done over time. 7-8 Months, 3 and a half hours a time and a LOT of pain, gonna be worth it...hehe!!!

I'm not a wimp, I mean, I didn't flinch when my brother-in-law was doing mine but when he got into the tender areas, but some places, I'd have to have numbing cream. Oh, well.

I freaked him out with my Phoenix because I told him I was enjoying the pain, he said it as a joke but it was all true, his wife thought that was great

I got the outline and the base color for the skeleton before having to quit, but since that's about all we were planning to do that day, anyway, it worked out. It took two more sit-downs to get done, and the final touch-ups done in June. I did it all without numbing cream, but I still don't have the best pain tolerance in the world. -_-; And to think, I have this tattoo, and all the while when tattoos came up in a conversation before, I would say I wanted something like a cross with a skull on top and a snake winding it's way up the cross, going into one eye socket and it's head coming out the other as my first tattoo. I could still get that one when I have the money, but the one I have is not the one I always said I wanted to by my first.

I find it really depends on where you get the tat done as to how bad the pain is, my upper arms were fine, even though I was freaking out a bit with my first, lower right arm was rather nasty, the wrist and elbow where the killers, lower left was a different story, hardly felt a thing, my right side was mostly fine until he hit the hip bone then that sent me through the roof...lmao Ya should get it done one day dude, sounds like a wicked as design, would love to see it once ya get it done, is it gonna be a gothic style cross you want to use in the design??? Yea cost is a big thing with tats for me to, they are a great thing just suck up a lot of money, due to my old computer blowing and having to buy a new one I could not get my flames done this year, at the same time I’m working on my “Lost” tattoo, just not sure which to get first, the Lost one has much more detail then the flames so it will cost more.

I'm fat. Let's not mince words, I'm losing weight recently, but I'm still fat. Some places won't be too bad because of this, but others? They'll still be miserable for whatever reason. And I hadn't really considered what manner of cross it would be, but in my head, it was a simple wooden cross, like the one Jesus was crucified on. I suppose a Gothic-style cross would work, though. I have a glimmer of hope coming to me, though. The State sent me a letter saying that even though my unemployment was exhausted, I could still get one last extension that could possibly last 20 weeks, though the rules for this last extension are far stricter than standard unemployment. Even so, money is money, and being that my tattoo artist is my brother-in-law, he gives me a family discount, so tattoos aren't all that bad. Still expensive, but not as bad as most so-called pros at the parlors.

HAHA yay for discounts, my tattooist knows me so well now that if I take someone in to get a tat done he gives me a discount, always useful...hehe.

I never said I'm actually trying to lose the weight. I'm trying to stop gaining more, but through some miracle, I'm actually losing. It has me worried though, as the attempts to stop gaining aren't going as well as I had hoped they would. Instead, I've not been sleeping as much lately, and I'm beginning to think there's a link there. We'll see. There's another couple of tattoos I'm wanting to get, too. And yeah, how much would you think I paid for mine? Go ahead, take a guess.

Yeah, no. I paid $60 for my tattoo. Technically $50, but if I had welched, I'd have owed my brother-in-law $10 for the needles anyway, so I told him to go ahead and keep the excess $10 and use it to buy some more needles, anyway.
