Name:[/u] Tai-Sun Luong.
Age:[/u] Seventeen.
Gender:[/u] Female.
Nation:[/u] Fire Nation.
Bender?:[/u] Yes.
Appearance:[/u] Tai-Sun has dark brown hair and striking golden eyes. She wears a sleeveless, form-fitting, black shirt that cuts off right below her chest. Over this is a golden halter-top with a large strip of red fabric at the bottom which shows off her well-toned midriff. She also wears a pair of calf-length red pants with a black belt. From this belt hangs golden fabric, one foot in width, that dangles to her just above her knees. Tai-Sun also wears a pair of black fingerless gloves, golden armbands, and a golden belly-button ring in the shape of the Fire Nation emblem. A fire lily always rests securely in her hair.
Personality:[/u] Tai-Sun Luong is a Fire nation noble and a fire bender, though she is also skilled with a double-bladed sword. She keeps a dagger in her right boot at all times. She is extremely loyal to the Fire Nation and the Fire Lord, no matter who he may be given the times (Ozai, Zuko, etc.), and thinks lowly of all those from other Nations, particularly Water Tribes. She has a snobbish, I'm-better-than-you, condescending air about her, yet she is extremely intelligent; she is at the top of her class. Tai-Sun loves to read, especially when it comes to books on history and Fire Nation politics. She was accepted into the most prestigious of schools in the Fire Nation. She aspires to become a member of the Fire Lord’s War Council and will be traveling the world in order to “better understand other cultures and become a better politician”. After obtaining a position in the Fire Lord’s War Council she has every intention of becoming the Fire Lord’s Hand, a top secret position within the Fire Lord’s Council. She will take care of any task the Fire Lord asks her to. She will be whatever the Fire Lord needs her to be: messenger, an errand-girl, but most importantly… an assassin and bounty hunter. She tracks down all who oppose the Fire Lord and either takes them hostage or, in Katara’s words, ends their destinies, permanently. She harbors a secret interest in Water Tribe culture, though she does believe it to be primitive and barbaric. As much as she may loathe to admit it, she is intrigued by how different it is to what she's accustomed to.
History:[/u] Born and raised in the world of Fire Nation nobles, she is no stranger to treachery and backstabbing. Her parents were in good-standing with Fire Lord Ozai and his family, and thus remain among the most powerful of the nobles during Zuko’s reign. She was raised as a true Fire Nation patriot; her parents taught her to always put her nation before herself. Her father was a General in Ozai’s army, her grandfather a General in Sozin’s, and Tai-Sun’s parents had wanted a boy who would join the armed forces, climb the ranks, and bring even more honor to their family. Having a girl did not thwart their plans of having a military child and they therefore encouraged Tai-Sun to follow in her father and grandfather’s footsteps. At a young age, however, she showed an affinity for politics and manipulating people to get her way. It was at this time that her parents encouraged her not only to continue her military endeavors but also to attempt to join the Fire Lord’s War Council and Tai-Sun was more than happy to do so, though she has not, of course, told them of her plan to become the Fire Lord’s Hand.
