Hello.
Before I started to drift away from the fandom, I had heard that M&B were not done with the avatar univierse in cartoon form, and were even considering a Young Iroh spin-off....
Has there been any more comments on this?

Nope, not that I know of. The only thing that's really in the works is the live-action movie.

I remember a rumor that they would be making another Avatar series, too. Have those rumors been denied as well?

That would be quite sexy. I seriously hope we hear more about this.

I want something more Avatar. I really don't care what at this point, but Iroh's story has been thrown around a lot so it's most likely, I think. I've been hearing a bunch of people say that they've heard talk lately, but it might just be internet people missing Avatar.

It would be really cool to see Iroh's story and his journies. And even more so that it will tie into things that happened (or he said) on the show.

Not to mention a bit more about the whole Zuko/Iroh/Lu-Ten relationship or right before Iroh went into banishment with Zuko...even the early years there. If they get that far, I'd find it quite interesting.

Considering Iroh is my favorite character, if they did an expansion on him, I'd do a double backflip out of my chair out of sheer reaction and happiness upon hearing that news. One can hope, riiiiight? /beg

I'd be most interested to see Iroh's journey through the Spirit World. There wasn't as much of the SW as I would have liked to have seen in Avatar, and hopefully a new series would explore it more. Then again, I think one of the things that made Avatar so amazing was that it didn't overstay its welcome. Oh well; I still want a new series. X}

Or a brand-sparkly-new series would be nice. Agreed. I would LOVE a new series with completely new characters. I don't like the idea of a series about the Gaang's children. :/ I want to fall in love with new characters, debate over new plot twists, and even initiate some new shipping wars (and maybe this time I'll choose the one that ends up canon! [Common Sense says: "Pfft. Hello? Did Harry/Hermione and Zutara teach you nothing?" *smacks*]). I think a modern setting would be most desirable.

^Why yes. Yes it would. I got an idea for the plot, anyway. Wanna hear? Okay, here goes.
So, it's been quite a few hundred years since Aang died, and the Airbenders have been rebuilt. The cycle is now on Earth. The avatar that has been chosen is a Bei Fong, and he/she is named (undecided). They have reached their Sixteenth Birthday, and the Earth Sages break the news to him/her. Now he/she must travel the world in search of masters of the elements, and begin his training as the Avatar. Little does he/she know, the Fire Nation wants revenge on him/her for a few hundred years ago...
Ya like?? (NO STEALING!!)

^I'd rather the Fire Nation not be the enemy if they ever do another series. What about something that would make all the four nations work together? It could be something where they have to travel to the Spirit World because of some big bad trying to shape the world into a very messed up existence....speaking of which what about Koh? I wanna know what happened to him and his "We'll meet again Avatar".
Lol, same ships I rooted for during the run of both series. I still like both of them though.
