If it includes the Earth King & Bosco, I whole-heartily approve. .....Oh dude, they could do a comic about what those two have been up to since the left the gaang. I.. I didn't even consider that! <3

That would be hilarious! I'd say out me down for two copies...but we only get Spongebob books from Nick down here...I seriously doubt I'll ever see it in print...

We could do it as a fan project or something. Comics are relatively simpler to do than full-scale projects.

But would Kuei have even survived?
Zuko and Iroh were pretty hopeless when they first went peasant...and they weren't nearly as sheltered as Kuei was.
Bosco would have certain animal instincts I guess...but he was pretty pampered too.

I was bit surprised that he kinda just "leapt to it."
Seemed a bit OOC for me.

The writers were kinda lazy in Season Three...they had to get rid of him, so they did...they just didn't put a lot of effort into it...

They had to have survived! Although I do think they would have been mugged once or twice, I think their cheerful naivety would have garnered them some hospitality from the nicer EK residents, and learn things along the way since they (or at least Kuei) seemed genuinely interested in learning about the real world. Their departure in the show was very sudden, but there was a comic in the.... "Enter the Fire Nation" magazine that was insanely adorable and better fleshed out why they decided to go on their own journey. You can also read it on the Nick Magazine site. It's called "It's Only Natural." But yeah, with so many people added/returning in Season Three, I guess they couldn't manage all of them so had to trim the ... extras. ;_;

@nandi: They could have just let him die. Seeing as hoe he's probably not returning to rule Ba Sing Se, his life is pointless to the series XP
I kinda wish there was more Sokka-giving-up-Yue action. He seemed to be pretty willing to leap to Suki right after Season 2.

Maybe he pinned in the missing three weeks? He got over her PDQ though.
But then...it's my opinion that, just as the Monty Python crew couldn't write good parts for women, the Avatar crew couldn't write good romance...there was no subtlety of build-up to them...they were just suddenly there, and made little sense. Still, I guess the characters ARE teens (or pre-teens), they were probably just acting on hormones...
But...we're off-topic...back to the comics...

Nice comic find, nan ~ thanks [stop being depressed]. Since they went to the trouble, though, to actually animate that scene with Zuko asking Daddy "where's Mommy?" and then never getting an answer... they'll probably never make a Nickmag comic (or anything else) about Ursa. Something about not traumatizing youngsters with the awful truth? Honestly, the way the storyline was left dangling, with no closure, was probably more traumatizing than finding out whatever actually happened. Why they spend so much money to work on these extras and then make them less than satisfying is a mystery to me.

Omgwtfbbq, The Blue Chibi posted? And to answer your rhetorical question, comics are easy to make and the cost for making them is outweighed by the profit.
@nandi: Still, it'd be nice if they decided to add the more interesting romantic parts into the comics, though, I'm much more interested in the action. As for the Sokka ordeal, they could give us the three weeks that was concealed..., maybe explain if that one guy beat a Sea-Sponge or something.
