I was wondering: What happened to the Adobe Photoshop Thread? Where is it? I have a new Adobe Elements, Ver. 7, and since the APT held lotsa tuts., I was wondering what happened to it.
Anyways, if someone rummages and finds it, please give me the link. Gracias! ~ Sakura-~-chan-chan-chan

Since a Graphics board has been made in the Avatar Creations section, we moved the Adobe Photoshop thread there because it has to do with graphics. You can find it here

Thanx!
Adding on.
I Have Adobe Photoshop Elements v.7. And it won't resize like the other version did, putting in 100 by 100 as the height and length(-?). I have to take 100x100 bases from tutorials and base sites. T_T Please help!

That's odd. I've never heard of that problem with Photoshop. I'll ask a few more PS-literate friends and get back to you.

What is it resizing to? Are you not adding "px" at the end of the number?

I have Photoshop CS3 but I'll explain how I crop anyways, so I hope it'll help you out. =) First of all, you copypaste an image into your photoshop and if it's too big then you crop it. Use the crop tool, the one I circled in black here. I always crop it until it's roughly a square so that if you resize it to 100x100 pixels the image won't get squished. This is the cropped result. Then you go to image size, as you can see here. Or just press: Alt+Ctrl+I When you clicked that, you get this kind of table. It could be slightly different in your version, though. As you can see the width and height are roughly the same, so it is roughly a square, which means I can resize. :] You just fill in 100 in both boxes that are in the black circle. Make sure that it says PIXELS or maybe "px", like Night said, in the green circle, otherwise you won't get your icon base. When those things are okay, you press okay and get icon base you want. I hope this explanation was helpful. ^_^

I'lll have to check that. Thanks a ton! night-san: Thanks suuuu much! Edit: Does it have something to do with cropping it in an 100 by 100 square (it still isn't resized then, though)?
