Nashk nodded to himself, watching Hisea drop into slumber even as her words rang into his head. "Of course, other times I feel extremely alone. The spirits don't always send me good fortune."
Alone... Isolated where no help could possibly come. A place where friends as valuable as they are, are almost always never seen again. Why do the spirits allow this?
"Yes... Why do the spirits allow this?" He mumbles to the sky.
He pondered this even as he drifted to sleep. The darkness swimming into his mind and body, bringing no dreams for comfort.
He awoke to chaos, prisoners screaming as fire nation soldiers dragged away prisoners to chained groups. Marching them away to someplace unknown.
Realization donned upon Nashk even before he looked at Hisaea's empty bed. "Hisea!"
He ran, knocking aside panicking prisoners, and avoiding the armored soldiers. "Hisea!"HE called out into the crowd. He knew it was hopeless, she was probably being shipped while he was sleeping.... What to do?
Clinging to what hope he has left, Nashk rammed through the crowd, knocking aside prisoners and soldiers alike. His fear and anger filled his mind, he had found a freind... And now she could be lost forever.

Hisae could not see well in the moving crowd, for the moon was partially covered by clouds, the sky looking as heavy as her heart. The only light provided was by the torches the soldiers held, and Hisae cringed whenever she looked at one.
She watched in horror as a young man tried to resist a guard who was trying to chain him. The soldier took his fist, and as flames came out of the tips of his fingers he clenched it, punching the boy hard in the stomach. He gagged and coughed blood, then cried out as a second blow caused him to lose consciousness. The soldiers nearby laughed and chained him to the rest of the group.
Hisae was sickened by the sight, and walked forward blindly with her eyes closed. She heard the evil sounds of the soldiers shouting, the clinking of the chains, and the horrible bell clanging as the gates opened.
She suddenly realised that she wished Nashk were here. He was the first person she had spoken to since she was attacked, and he had given her some comfort, if not much.
Her eyes opened to take one last look around, but she saw a line of prisoners behind her, and beyond that, chaos in the prison.
The gates screeched open and the prisoners were forced through, towards metal prison vehicles pulled by viscious looking komodo rhinos. The clouds moved completely over the moon, obscuring whatever light had been there moments ago. The stars were nowhere to be seen either. The storm clouds had blocked them all.

He had been wondering all night; he couldn’t relax and sleep didn’t seem to come. There was a secret behind his mother acting so suspiciously. “Tell me mom! Tell me, what was the secret you were talking about?” Kazuo asked impatiently. His mother took his plate after he was done eating and went to the corner of the kitchen to wash the plates. Kazuo’s family owned a well with tons of litres of water in it. If all the rivers in the whole of the Fire Nation would dry out; they’d still manage. After washing and drying the clean dishes, Kazuo’s mother put them away and turned over to her son. “Where shall I start? I haven’t told a lot about my family, if not nothing, right?” she thought out loud. “Mom, I’d really love to hear about your family, but what does this have to do with-“. “Everything honey, everything. Now just hear me out and don’t interrupt me” she said calmly while interrupting Kazuo. Kazuo nodded obediently; if he wanted to find this out, he had to listen patiently. “Uhm lets just start with your grandmother, Pich “started Kozue slowly. “ You know she was a nice woman; but very strong. She married your grandfather, Ju-Long, who died at the siege of Ba Sing Se. After that she felt lonely and that’s why she died two years ago. Let’s take two minutes of silence for grandma, Kazuo” Kazuo’s grandma was very nice; he really missed her and he knew his mother missed her as well. They used to always chat with each other as two friends. No, they were friends. “It’s good to think about grandma and those good old times sometimes” he thought. “Alright” Kazuo’s mother sighed after two minutes. “You see, your grandmother was against the war Kazuo.” Kazuo’s mother just spilled the news, as if it was nothing. Kazuo was astonished; weren’t they supposed to stay obedient to the Fire Lord? They were supposed to shut up about things that opposed the Fire Lord in any way. “I know you’re astonished honey; but she had her reasons. The man with the dead eyes, that man you met at the Prison Camp was a good friend of hers” she told passionately. Kazuo didn’t understand; how could his grandmother be friends with an earth bender? The war had already started before his grandmother’s time. “But... but how, mom?” asked Kazuo confused. Kozue took a deep breath and started again. “Your grandmother travelled a lot because she liked to travel. Back in that time the dragons weren’t extinct; she had her own dragon. She could fly all day long to the Earth Kingdom, the Air Nomads and the Water Tribes” her eyes began to sparkle. “The Fire Lord at that time, Fire Lord Sozin, already started the war; but he had only conquered some cities in that time. Your grandmother became the best friends with that earth bender you met at the Prison Camp. They’d always show their bending to each other.” Kozue paused again, taking a sip of her cup of cold tea that cooled down in the time she was telling the story. “One day, Sonam, your grandmother’s friend, got captured by the Fire Nation. This was at the time your grandmother just gave birth to me. She had a hard time, raising me and your aunt; after all more and more of her friends were imprisoned. That’s one of the reasons why you grandmother didn’t like the war, Kazuo” Kozue stopped talking. “What were the other reasons?” Kazuo asked; if there was more he wanted to know it. His mother smiled. She didn’t expect this from her son, but she knew he was clever. “Well, you grandmother just hated war, she hated to see others in pain. She was raised like that by my grandfather. Obviously, nobody likes pain, right?” she replied. Kazuo knew this was a rhetorical question. “So you are against the Fire Lord too then?” Kazuo asked. Kazuo’s mother nodded, while taking another sip of her tea. Kazuo was happy to hear this; his own mother was against the Fire Lord. He could speak his mind to someone. Suddenly, his fear for the Fire Lord disappeared. What he was waiting for, was someone whom he trusted. Someone who would understand his feelings. Kagoshi was nice, but he just got to know her. He was scared of getting caught if he told her; if he admitted the fact that he is against the Fire Lord. “Kazuo, I’m not done yet” his mother told Kazuo, after she saw him in deep thought. “You see, your grandmother was raised like this because her father wasn’t the average ‘upper-class-man’. Her father, my grandfather, was against Fire Lord Sozin and his ideals. That was something someone could be punished for; it still is today” she told Kazuo while finishing her cup of tea. Once done, she put the cup away and turned around to face Kazuo. “My grandfather was a great man. He cherished life; he cherished his family and friends and he was a fun-loving man.” Kazuo’s mother said while smiling. “Like dad?” Kazuo asked. Kazuo’s mother smiled while saying her words: “Yes, like your father Kazuo.” Kazuo liked the thought of it. He imagined that his grandmother and grandfather were still alive; and their parents too: one big happy family. A fake one though; he was dreaming again. “My grandfather gave birth to two children; my mother and my uncle. My uncle was a fun-loving guy as well and he was very protective of the ones he loved. He gave birth to one daughter and after that he died unfortunately. I remember that this happened shortly after I met Sonam, the earth bender, at the Prison Camp. I was around eight years old I think” Kazuo’s mother started again. Kazuo didn’t know that everything in his perfect family was this imperfect. “I remember that we buried stuff, crying together” Kazuo’s mother said out loud. “With who did you burry it mom?” Kazuo asked without thinking. “With my older niece” Kazuo’s mother answered, gazing at the wooden table in front of her. “What happened to her mom? I haven’t seen any niece of yours” Kazuo asked nosy, yet sad. Kozue came back to senses again, she smiled sadly and answered: “I don’t know what happened to her; she suddenly disappeared. The last time I saw her was when she gave birth to the banished prince of the Fire Nation.” ( ;D yup, I'm going that direction.. hehe.. I editted something... the Fire Nation totally burns... not buries *headdesk* )... I'm too lazy to do the same in all other posts though )

( ;D yup, I'm going that direction) Cool, just don't let it get too into the canon, okay? Like, references to canon characters are ok, but I don't want to get the characters themselves involved

Nashk ran blindly through the scared, panicked crowd. Unable to see well in the darkness. He soon learned the little flames scattered through the crowd, was the very fire soldiers struggling to keep the crowd in check. Little, individual flames, scattered in the chaos.
'This is the enemy? Disorganized, outnumbered, and scattered? This is what we fear?'
Yet Nashk knew the truth, those individual soldiers were not the enemy... They fought with their county, their reasons probably as varied as as their were stars in the sky... Yet tonight the stars were covered by dark clouds, hidden in the darkness.
He grunted in effort knocking aside a young soldier who tried to apprehend him. Tossing him aside into the night, revealing that the torches were growing in numbers around him, moving in a slow circle to apprehend him. Flames flew form their outstretched fists, swirling, roaring, illuminating the cold steel before his feet.
Fear rose in his throat, pounding his mind, terror clawing at his soul. Their was so many of them.. The heat... The flames... All consuming... Covering all in its deadly embrace.
Unable to contain his fear and anger anymore, he shouts to the sky. "Why!?! First you steal our homes, you break our spirits, and defile our souls... Why? For power? Land? CONTROL?"
A battle cry sprung form his lips as he plunged into the flames, the heat washing over him, evaporating the very sweat form his brow.
(Phew... Think I contradicted myself a few times...)

I also like your last one chaobunny; your writing skills are awesome To be honest; I also wanted Sakura to post; because my character had only met hers.. so I kinda don't know what to do know.. (this is calles a writer's block in english, right?) I mean; I still haven't figured out yet how Kazuo will react and what his actions are.. (of course going to Kagoshi... but I need Sakura or tmmf-girl or whatever her username was again, sorry, I can't remember ) And in two days I'm in England; so I can't post for a week... then again, I'm happy. Guys I'd like to remind that you keep the OCC discussions somewhere else. Usually with every RP there is a thread corresponding to it in the About RP section.

Hisae heard loud noises from behind her from what she assumed were resisting prisoners. She heard a few screams and grimaced, hoping that Nashk was okay.
They were forced into the metal vehicles and were packed tightly; Hisae's heart raced from such close contact with other people, but she knew that her fellow prisoners were as helpless as she was right now, and that they should be the least of her worries.
The guards slammed shut the metal doors, and the clank echoed throughout the small vehicle. When the doors closed it was pitch black, and the guards shouted orders that Hisae could not hear in the confusion.
The komodo rhinos began to move after the guards shouted, and the vehicles screeched as they started moving forward. The clank of the prisoners' chains was a constant rattling sound that would continue for the duration of the journey. Hisae tried to close her mind to it.
She tried to close her mind to everything; the pain, the fear, and the confusion. She was unsuccessful, and she listened to the whispered conversations among the prisoners around her.
"We could be going to the mines..." said one voice.
"Maybe another prison?"
"Are they going to force us to serve in the fire nation army?"
A tear ran down Hisae's cheek.

(( Holy crudmuffins! How freakin' long has it been?! Gaspith! ))
Kagoshi gave a quick sigh, ruffling her hair. She gazed out the large window, frowning occaisionally. What the heck did that dream mean? And why the heck could she see that boy's dumb face so clearly? "Maybe... he's go something to do with my destiny? Wait... what am I kidding? Destinies are bogus," she murmured to the sky. She looked up at the white moon contrasted against the stars. "What do you think, Mom?" She gave a quick smile, before swishing her hair backwards and leaving the window. "I need to stop waking up..." she grumbled as she climbed into bed. "And what's with all these mood swings? Ah..."-she laughed quietly, snuggling into her pillow-"it's puberty at work..." And, with a clear conscience, Kagoshi floated back into dream.

“I remember that we buried him, crying together.” I have to find a way; I just have to find a way. “I don’t know what happened to her.” That voice is coming after me, why is it coming after me? “The last time I saw her was when she gave birth to the banished prince of the Fire Nation.” It’s confusing me; I didn’t need to know! “She suddenly disappeared.” I didn’t need to know! “Crying together.” I didn’t need to know “She gave birth to the banished, banished, banished, banished prince”. I didn’t want to know, I didn’t want to be! “My older niece.” I didn’t want to be family of the Fire Lord!!!
“Ahhhh, no, no- let go of me!!” shouted Kazuo. “Honey, it’s me! Listen to me and relax now!” answered Kazuo’s concerned mother, it was legible from her face that she was shocked.
KABUM! KABUM! KABUM!
Kazuo’s heart was bouncing intensely, as if it would just pop out of his chest.
Kabum! Kabum! Kabum!
“That’s right honey; breathe in through your nose trills and breathe out through your mouth, relax. I’m with you, everything is just fine!”
Kabum, kabum, kabum.
The sun had set what seemed an age ago and it seemed as if billions of minuscule candles were lit in the sky. As if there were billions of souls, billions of spirits that were guarding over millions of Fire Nation citizens. The sky looked as peaceful as other nights and it seemed that the spirits in the sky had done a good job, guarding the Fire Nation citizens. However, the spirit didn’t guard the young Kazuo this night.
It was the second time he had a nightmare, the second time this week! After his mother had told him about her family, which make them his family as well, he couldn’t close an eye this night. He remembered that his mother told him when Natsuko and his father had left. They wouldn’t be at home anyways; so it was the perfect opportunity to find out what his mother meant. And boy did he find out; it was as if this information was thrown at him, all of it at the same time! He wasn’t able to handle it; at least, he couldn’t let go of it. He was related to the Fire Lord! Indirectly, but still; Kazuo couldn’t let go of this tiny, fragile thought. This tiny thought that was this big, that it had occupied his whole mind. He now knew he was related to the Fire Lord in some way, but he didn’t want to realize it. He just didn’t want to accept it.
Slowly, but surely, Kazuo got relaxed. His mother was holding him for almost an hour, closely to her womb. It was then that Kazuo actually noticed that he felt very safe in this position, hugging is mom. He knew his mother told him the truth about her family to reassure him that his negative feelings towards the Fire Lord weren’t a sin. However, gaining information about his relatives and family made him feel miserable; it made him feel even more of a traitor against the Fire Lord. The Fire Lord was a bad person, Kazuo knew he was. But to disobey such a strong and powerful man….
“Kazuo, honey, I know what you are thinking of, and I’m sorry that I made you feel this way. But really, forget about these thoughts! You aren’t more of a traitor just because you are related to him. You aren’t more of a traitor because you are a Fire Nation citizen, no! Kazuo, you have your own opinions, your own thoughts; that’s what makes you Kazuo! By ignoring your feelings, thoughts and opinions, you give the Fire Lord more power. And you, my dear, you will lose what makes you Kazuo!” by this time, Kazuo’s mother was crying while whispering her son’s name. “Honey, stand up for yourself, otherwise you will regret! Just like me! Take it from me; be yourself!” she added while hugging her son as if it would be the last time she would see him. “Please think about what I said; you’ve got plenty of time tomorrow when you are going to the Academy again. You should sleep now; you mind if I sleep with you?” asked Kozue. “No, I don’t mind at all mom” Kazuo said softly, while hugging her.
Her words…they make sense; they make a lot of sense. She is right; of course she is right, she is my mother! I don’t have to be ashamed of my feelings towards the actions of the Fire Lord! He should be ashamed! I’m going to do something… but what? KAGOSHI! Of course, I’ll have to go to Kagoshi!
(I know; I'm terrible... I said 6th of April... I forgot... now you can all throw digital, rotten tomatoes (or even melons) at me.. I deserve it *nods*)

(Well I missed a day but here is my post, chaobunny, htis rp really cant move foreard without knowing what is going on with the guards and whatnot.)
Nashk awoke to the sensation of intense pain, darkness clouded his vision and the smell of burnt flesh flooded his nostrils. He was alive...
Groaning he gropped into the darkness and grabbeda cloth. Paine spread through his hand as someone slapped it away. Confused Nashk attempted to sit up, more pain...
"Please do not move, you may open the burns on your body." A voice whispered to him.
"What? Where am I.. Why cant I see?" Nashk replied, his voice a murmer.
"I do not know, we are in some sort of transport... Among other prisoners. You gave those firenation pigs whatfore I tell ya... It took twelve of them to hold you down, and burnt your face they did. I believe your eyes will be fine... Well at least in a day or two they will."
Nashk groaned in reply, laying his head upon hot metal, his head hurt somthing terrible. Then realisation dawned upon him... Hisea!
"I hada freind... Hisea... Do you know where she is? I think she was being taken by the soldiers..."
A shuffle. "Hisea? I am sorry to say I do not know her... I am sure she is fine though, they won't kill women, or at least not those they capture... She is a woman right?"
"yeah..." Was all Nashk could say before collapsing into darkness.

They kept moving for what seemed like hours. Hisae was in pain, but the bleeding around her burnt wrists had stopped, and she was able to close her eyes and think.
Sleep was impossible in the metal vehicle crowded with prisoners. Still, Hisae felt safer with her eyes closed. People continued to whisper.
"I promised my family that I would avenge my brother's death..."
"...too late to save ourselves..."
"It would be impossible for me to earthbend with these shackles..."
The voices ran through Hisae's mind in a continuous stream of thought, not fully registering themselves before more information was taken in. She was half in a daze, startled only by the occasional bump or a shout in the distance.
People continued to ask questions about where they were going to be taken. Hisae did not speak, but she listened to those who did.
One voice, that of a man, said something that frightened Hisae greatly: "I've heard horrible rumors about what they did to waterbenders. They put them in cages like animals and bound them hand and foot when they ate. They kept them there for years, until they died..."
Hisae gasped in terror at this, as did many other people; when they asked the man where he got this information from, he simply said that he had heard rumors. Hisae prayed that they didn't do the same to earthbenders.
-------
Hours later, Hisae suddenly realised that they had stopped moving. She opened her eyes to look around, then remembered that she could not see in the darkness of the vehicle.
Suddenly, the doors of the vehicle were open. Sunlight rushed in, forcing Hisae to shut her eyes to adjust to the sudden brightness. She was surprised to see the light; she had no way of knowing what time it was inside the dark metal vehicle. They must have been moving all night.
The fire nation soldiers shouted at them, and the prisoners stumbled out of the metal vehicle, chains clanking and people crying out in anguish from bruises received from sitting on hard metal too long. Hisae was immune to the physical pain at this point; her mind was the only sense that seemed to function correctly.
The soldiers made a loud threat to prevent anyone from escaping: "Anyone who tries to earthbend will be killed on the spot!"
Nobody tried to earthbend. They were tired, sore, and afraid.
When she got out of the vehicle, Hisae noticed that they were in the center of what appeared to be a fire nation town... maybe a city? There were pagodas of red and gold design, and large fancy buildings and dwellings as far as the eye could see. As afraid as she was, Hisae stared in awe for a few moments.
She was brought back to reality with a painful kick in the back from a guard who was telling the line of prisoners to move. Hisae saw perhaps a hundred prisoners around her, but she could not see if Nashk was among them.
Curious faces looked out of nearby windows at the pitiful sight. Some laughed, some sneered, and others looked away in pure disgust. A few people looked on with sympathy.
Hisae had never been in a city, and she wondered where they were. She strained her eyes, trying to get an idea of what was going on. She had absolutely no idea.
