Yea, and it would feel like all the strings are backwards. It would be weird having to reach for the E string when it's normally right next to my fingers.

well, you would learn differently. Besides, I guess lefthanders get that all the time the 'it feels weird' thing...

I disagree; I've heard chords with an extra string vs. one with a note half a step off. the second sounds horrible compared to the first. and it depends on what type of guitar playing you're doing. Not all songs have rapid strumming like a Spanish malaguena does. Some songs just require strumming up and down (and sometimes just down >.>), making them easier to play. Conversely, many songs don't use/use few chords, making them easier to play.

Yea, and it would feel like all the strings are backwards. It would be weird having to reach for the E string when it's normally right next to my fingers. no, the strings would be restrung going the opposite direction, so that E is always on the inside, then A, D, and G.
