I adore Tokka, I'm such a sucker for one sided unrequented love I'm all too familiar Me, too. I used to wonder why I make so many amvs to Simple Plan's "When I'm With You." Maybe that's why I'm drawn to Tokka and Toko.

^Lol nandi, that really does say something.
I voted for Sukka. Cause I like there relationship. I loved it in TBR especially how Suki had been waiting for Sokka.

Need I say more? Nand likes it. As such, it proves that Sukka should be made into an anti-depressant. But seriously now, I vote Sukka. Actually, if Tykka was an option I'd vote for that. But, that's off-topic.

I prefer Sukka. Toph/Sokka is cute, but I prefer them as awesome BFFs with the added bittersweetness of Toph's unrequited crush. I think Toph -> Sukka made her seem more human and the fact she had to grow out of it does the same. Suki and Sokka just... work together. Suki humbled Sokka, Sokka inspired Suki, and they're both cute lovesick dorks around each other. BTW, could it be a coincidence Toph only started glomping Zuko after Suki returned? Clearly the poor girl was on the rebound Eh, I don't think Toph was on the rebound. Fandom is to quick to point out romantic attraction where there is none, really. Toph just wanted access to Zuko: free therapist. Though fanon/older Toko wouldn't be too bad...

Unfortunately, when Suki and Sokka got together, her character was reduced to Sokka's girlfriend for the most part. She became a bit more cardboard-cutout---y than she was before, and I think that's why I dislike it a little bit. I felt their relationship finally sparking up was a little harsh on her character. That could be just me, however.

As amusing George was in the last few episodes, it's a shame that Suki's characterization just fell flat because of the role she ended up being written into. The good thing, for Suki, is that you can imagine her having a life if she and Sokka ever break up (You know, leading/mentoring the Kiyoshi Warriors) however, I think Bryke needs to learn that when writing female love interests for anyone who's not a lead just giving them the ability to take down multiple muscle-headed men is not enough.

I think Bryke needs to learn that when writing female love interests for anyone who's not a lead just giving them the ability to take down multiple muscle-headed men is not enough. Well, I wouldn't say that. Suki’s personality may not have changed since she was introduced but she did develop some (e.g. going out into the world to help people, show more of her sweet side, etc.). Then Mai got her own fairly important character arc and all the potential love interests that are one shots (e.g. Song, Haru, Meng, etc.) each have an interesting little quirk. So... yeah, I wouldn’t totally discount Suki or Sukka. Sukka does have unconventional gender roles, dweeby guy and his hot girlfriend thing, and working together to support each other and succeed at a common goal once Suki joins the Gaang. [/obviously torn where Sokka’s romances are concerned ]

It's not like Avatar is short on warrior girls, so a warrior girl who has nothing else, no other quirks, and no flaws comes across as flat. A major difference is that Toph was established as a character before any hints of her crush on Sokka; Suki became a love interest the first episode she was introduced. I never thought in "Warriors of Kyoshi" that they intended to bring Suki back permanently or promote her to the level they did. Is the fact that Toph/Sokka is unrequited, that Sokka never realzied things like how much Toph missed in in 3-04, part of its charm?

Suki is still an establish as a warrior...I think we forget that being part of a relationship meaning being open about self(see: Mai & Aang). I never saw that anything that she had to comprise who she is to be with sokka...the same with sokka should also be noted as well

I picked Tokka. I love it so much and I think it's absolutely wonderful. I do like and accept Sukka though. There are a lot of positive things about Sukka that are great, but I just prefer Tokka. I love Sokka and Toph so much and I'd be so happy if they got together. Toph's crush and Sokka's oblivion is adorbale too.

My feelings exactly. I don't know if I should be ashamed of this or not, but I would be much less tolerant of Sukka if not for that scene in TSR. with the exception of Katara which female character HASN'T been reduced to the role of 'X's girlfriend' as soon as they hooked up with X? Mai. There were only 3 hook-ups, right? So that's 2 out of 3.
