Every anime game is the same. Fixed that one for ya. This means, of course, within the respective series.

Yeah I actually agree. You really can't go wrong with either one. I have Burst Limit though.

I don't know. I haven't played Burst Limit, but Tenkaichi 3 is definitely fun (and probably cheaper right now). Burst Limit has obviously better graphics, and from what I've seen online, it plays a little bit different than the other DBZ games, but I really enjoyed Tenkaichi 3, especially story mode. There's even a "What If" saga with some very interesting fights.

Fixed that one for ya. This means, of course, within the respective series. Not really. Example: Inuyasha" Feudal Combat =/= Inuyasha: The Secret of the Cursed Mask. I don't consider Inuyasha anime, I consider it epic fail.

Most anime games are the same - within the series of course. All IY games are similar, as are the DBZ games, etc. etc. etc.

No, I totally get you, seriously. But within series, you can pretty much buy whichever game you want. They're all the same. Though some games add characters/stuff to do, so hey. Why not? I imagine anything after DBZ Tenkaichi 3 is pretty much the same. They're pretty much out of characters.
I do know there's a cheat in Tenkaichi 2 where you can play as Bulma though, and that intrigues me. I think you have to have GameShark though.
