I have seen it three times, and I am content. I loved the references from The Killing Joke which is one of my favorite Joker comics ever. I also love how Joker gave us snippets from his multiple choice past. Aaron Eckhart (sp?) also played a fantastic Harvey Dent. The stand off between him, Batman, and Gordon at the end is easily one of my favorites in the movie. The music accompanying the scene is gorgeous. If Nolan decides to make another movie, I don't think I will see it, I simply can't see how it will be able to top this one. This is the first movie in a long time where a sequel has been better than the original. There is one thing that annoys me though: the fandom has gone insane. Everyone and their mother is jumping on TDK bandwagon. Most of these folks were nowhere to be seen when the first Virals came out. It is just baffling. Especially the increase of Joker fans, don't get me wrong if anyone deserves fangirls it is the Joker, but when people start writing fics or drawing fanart that completely disregard his characterization that is where I draw the line. Do a little research, pick up a comic PLEASE! The Joker is NOT a woobie.

This movie was AMAZING! Heath Ledger's performance was excellent. The Joker is what made the movie great.

xtal: I know exactly what you mean. It's to be expected with every huge fandom though. It should calm down soon. (BTW, I love your angry gorilla playing the ukelele icon. Wow that's specific...) I've heard rumors they're already casting the next Batman movie.

Loved it!!! The bank robbery scene had to be the best beginning to a movie I've ever seen. There were so many great quotes in it from Harvey and Alfred. Heath Ledger did such a good job, when they were in the tunnel and he just pulled out a bazooka i started dying. It had a lot of twists i didn't see coming. Are movie theater was packed that whole weekend. It took forever to find a space. I've already seen it twice and i defiantly want to see it again. Oh and did i mention that Christian Bale is the hottest man to walk the planet!

It's a great movie, and I've seen it twice. I've started to notice that I laugh alot more at what the Joker does than what I probably needed too.
That "magic trick" scene at the beginning had me laughing out loud

^ahaha I didn't feel bad at all, that's how desensitized I really am. Ok seriously, I think everybody said it all. This movie was utterly amazing. I loved the portrayal of the Joker, that was brilliant. I also have to agree that Harvey was played exquisitely, especially with the way you thought he really was Gotham's White Knight, but then he turns for revenge! ooohh. In the end, there are too many awesome Joker quotes, SullenGirl and I just keep on repeating on a whim. Sometimes without even realizing it. And one last thing, that I think everybody has forgotten! THE MUSIC. Absolutely astounding. It's not just epic, it has so much emotion as well. Go buy the soundtrack. NOW.

Holy beef jerky that is amazing. There were only six people in theater when I went to see it. I saw it pretty late compared to most people, but I think i was in nowheresville, connecticut. it was kind of unnerving walking in though since all the theaters in houston were packed. I almost always cry in movies, and the few I haven't were usually really bad (the break-up. ) and I thought this would finally be one of those amazing films I didn't cry watching, then I started bawling right when batman took down two-face before he could shoot Gordon's son . This was probably the first movie that made me cry after it ended though. I was thinking about what Two-Face sort of stood for and cried for Harvey. I would have been embarrassed for bawling in a public place except for the fact that the theater lobby was literally empty.
