Hi everyone, this is uverworldluv's sister. I asked her if I could post something on here and she said it was okay I'm a huge Simple Plan fan. Their music has been the soundtrack of my life. I got their newest album a while ago and I really like it, but it kind of upsets me, too. Don't get me wrong, there is great music on there, but these songs seem so much different than their older stuff. Most of the songs on the newest album are about relationships and I just can't relate to them. It makes me sad because I could really relate to the songs on their previous albums. Songs like " I'm Just a Kid", "Perfect", "Welcome to my Life", and "One Day", truly saved my life. I just don't want SP to stray too far from the songs we know and love. Anyone else feel the same way? Edit: Changed title for general discussion.

As much as I loved Simple Plan's earlier stuff, I actually like their newer music better. I haven't listened to the new album yet, but I can say, based on their songs "When I'm Gone" and "Your Love is a Lie", that I like this new side of Simple Plan more

^ Yeah, "I'd Do Anything" is still one of their best songs ever *nod* ^_^ I guess the reason why I prefer their newer songs is because I've gotten older and I'm in a much different place in my life than I was back then.
